Just wondering is it at all possible that Lisa's / Dawn's siblings could be the allenstown victims ? Or is there something that definitely makes that impossible . Rather than say they died from blunt force trauma it' less drastic to say they died because they ate poison mushrooms and grass while camping. But in my opinion this would only be a possibility if they stayed in NH when they left Hayward street. Would be interesting to know if when they left Hayward street if they took the furniture with them. ..Apparently they moved out in less than a week from when they were last seen and never said a word about moving.

No, the DNA testing established that they weren't her mother and sister. When they located L/D, they thought for sure the woman in the barrel was Denise, so when it was no match, they were very surprised. See the first press conference video.

Tried looking for more info on his locations while in the military, no luck thus far... probably easier to find Jimmy Hoffa's body

Yes... I read this and it's not the story that I thought I read where she had a vague recollection of some siblings. What got to me was that the sexes of the siblings was the same and the same number of as the allenstown victims. I think it was another boston globe article , but now I even question that. or if I did read another article. I have the newspaper hard copy edition of "Finding Lisa" as well. I agree with many of the comments on the boston globe site, great article.

We have talked about apartment rental records in NH, what about in CA. We know he talked about a "nurse" in the OC, in which I believe she is the one that picked up D/L from the crash and the other a babysitter. We heard very little from the babysitter other than she took care of 2 children, whether that information was proved to be true or not cannot recall. The nurse if she is still alive and the babysitter could provide a good bit of information. How did the babysitter come in contact with TR to take care of the children.

Before I go further into rabbit hole hunt for details of that crash in thread 2, I have reread your post. If you do not mind me asking for clarity you say you believe it was Donna who picked Lisa up. So that is your personal believe or was it stated officially somewhere?

By the way, does anyone know if he served any time for this May 1985 car crash? I have not seen it mentioned anywhere even though it is stated that he was arrested but I would think that he would be imprisoned as he was intoxicated and had child in car too. Or would be this just some penalty points and being forbidden from driving? Or is it like arrest then release and prison come some time later after court? Sorry, don't know your legal system.

I think it must have been serious if straight after crash he quit his job where he worked over a year, left or was kicked out by "wife" nurse Donna and her 6 month old child, disappeared with Lisa and changed his name from Kimball to Jenson. All at that same time.

PS: Just to add that in this 6 month period when he disappeared after crash in May, first barrel was found (on Nov 1985).

I thought I read a slightly different account, too, or maybe it was the press conference where they read D/L's letter. I thought she mentioned brothers as well as sisters, but that could be how it was worded in this article. Not sure if it's supposed to mean D/L remembers boys as well as girls.

Police asked Lisa whether she had any brothers or sisters. She used to, she told them, but they died from eating “grass mushrooms” while they were camping.

If she remembers anyone that would be very revealing imo, .... What ever it was that I thought I read, I was taken back by it because of the coincidence to the Allenstown Victims. Thing is in 1981 she was only 6 months old and if she remembered anything she would of most likely would of been older. It Could be any time between 1981 and 1984 . If her vague recollection say she also remembered a fire . Well anyways, she would be the only one to answer that definitively .

If I ever find it I'll post it I had an external hard drive that crashed on me so it may have been on that.

I don't think it means anything definitive. It sounds like they used "brothers and sisters" instead of "siblings," which is a word a six-year-old wouldn't be likely to know.

They went off the grid then, including ceasing contact with Denise's family members, but no one knows where they were. They apparently moved far enough to not bump into anyone they knew, so it's assumed that they left the state.
