Agreed. That's most likely.

They could have lived in NH 3 weeks to a few months in '78 early '79 then started working as the electrician as Bob. Alias after the murder. *maybe*

Maybe he kept their belongings in the locked room to not give any indication in the house of them to other women he would prey on.

That's a good theory about the belongings.

Can someone untangle this from a timeline? What are the sources? I think it's a mix of info from LE, old newspapers and the timeline by folieadeuxnola on here:

1984
March
- TR is hired under name Curtis Kimball / Curtis Mayo Kimball by an electrical company in Los Alamitos, California. He works there until May 1985, when he was fired for stealing a band saw. He lives in Anaheim with a woman and children.
Investigators received information that Lisa may have a 2-3-year-old sister. In the company of Lisa and a 6-month-old girl (Witness; babysitter)
Possibly dating a woman that had 2 children.

I gathered some of the information may have come from D/L and other witnesses that knew him in CA. I don't think investigators stated their sources exactly, except for the babysitter witness and the woman he gave D/L to in the trailer park.

Thank you. I'll try and find the articles that were written back in the day. There was quite a lot of good info in there.

(Cross posted this on the Allenstown thread)
Or perhaps he could have locked them up alive in that room for a while? That may be why no one would remember Marlyse, Marie and Sarah.
That, combined with Marie's pneumonia and the fact that they weren't seen after Nov '78 but Evans didn't (as far as I am aware) leave New Hampshire until Nov '81, Marie was listed as being 9-10 when she died and had last been seen at age seven, makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Maybe this is a torture cellar case...

I fear that is possible. Another detail from the podcasts came from an interview with the lady detective from California that pushed to get Lisa's paternity test done. The details that Lisa told after she was in a safe environment were described as not only sexual abuse-- they said she was abused and tortured by TPR. She was also very thin. It seems she was starved. I fear we have only learned the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what TPR did to his victims and how many victims he may have had. It's terrifying to think about. MOO.

I hope not, it's bad enough as it is. I was thinking the other day how he murdered Marlyse and the children, if they had time to suffer. Eunsoon was found likely wearing flip flops on her feet (from BBP) meaning she wasn't asleep when he did it. I just can't get into my head the fact he may have killed them one by one while they were all awake and some had to witness it all. It's just gruesome and so heartwrenching.

Do we know what MONTH in 1985 the barrels were discovered. This is interesting.

I noticed something in his timeline. He disappeared with Denise B. around the time his brother killed himself (Dec 1 1978.) He murdered Eunsoon around the time one of his sisters died (June 11 2002.) It made me wonder if he murdered the mother of his child when his father died (September 1977) and where he was in June 1995 when his mother passed.
Was also wondering if Marlyse knew Denise Daneault. Even if the kids didn't go to school they may have met in the park since Denise lived nearby and had small kids too. She disappeared within the same timeframe as "Elizabeth Evans" vanished from the paperwork.

I often worry about this fact myself and the same in the case of Bobby Whitt and his mother Myoung. I hope none of these mother and children victims witnessed each others demise. I have hoped that it was done in their sleep. Another thing I wondered is how one person could kill 4 people without one getting away. With that I think they were killed at different times or otherwise in different rooms. Indeed heart wrenching. Makes you wonder how many others victims of TR there are.

@AliceInPain Good point about Marlyse possibly meeting Denise D. Mothers with young children usually will befriend other mothers so their children can have playdates. All my mom's friends growing up had children I played with. Would TR isolate them that far though to where they couldn't socialize outside of him though? I wonder if they interviewed Marlyse and Denise B's close friends to find out.

A good comparison would be the John List murders. He murdered his whole family in the 70s. Two teenage kids and a younger child, his wife, and his elderly mother. He killed them one by one as they came home from school. The elderly mother lived in a FROG or attic apartment in the house. None of the victims were witnesses to the other's murder. He also fled and lived under an alias until he was caught years later.

He may have been a psycho, but it seems he was also a believer in hard work. If he was gone 8+ hours a day he can't have controlled what his girlfriend did during that time.
I do find it very odd noone as far as we know has come out to say they remember three little children disappearing from that street or that house. Maybe he did isolate them and scare them off any relationships. I think Marie would have objected though, she was growing up and just learning to make her own decisions. I guess anyone can be manipulated, by a very good manipulator.
It would be helpful if HIS close friends were interviewed, but I don't think he had any.

He did not disappear with DeniseB in 1978. It was in 1981. Thanksgiving. Marlyse was last seen by her family with her girls Thanksgiving 1978.

Sorry, I meant Marlyse.

Just trying to keep the facts straight. This case is confusing enough! Lol.

This is so confusing. TR last seen by his family in 1975/1976. In 1978, TR called a friend in Arizona and asked for money. He said he was working on an oil rig in Texas. Denise Beaudin was last seen at a Thanksgiving gathering at her family’s home in 1981.

Edit to add: Marlyse and girls last seen by her family Thanksgiving 1978.
Thanks Owutatangledweb for clarification.

Oh boy, here I go again.

Terry Rasmussen was last seen by HIS family in December 1975 or 76.

Marlyse, her children, and Rasmussen were last seen by HER family Thanksgiving 1978.

Rasmussen' telephone call is accurate. Denise B is accurate.
