NH NH/CA - Terry Peder Rasmussen, suspected SK, Allenstown, 1981-2000's - #4

I have only heard it mentioned in that interview I linked to, and there were no details on exactly where.
I think he also said the woman may have been an "unofficial apartment manager"? So my guess is it wasn't in the best area, but that is jmo.
I am retired now and of course you are not allowed to keep your case files, so I'm afraid I don't have exact addresses etc. but I will explain as much as possible. Rasmussen's real SS# came back to an apartment in Fullerton in the mid 1980s. This Apt. building was owned by the same couple that also owned 4 other Apt. buildings in the Anaheim area. They had passed away, but when I contacted their daughter she remembered having a conversation with her mother that they had a manager, young single mother with a young daughter that had been very reliable. However over one weekend she had moved out and even took $500.00 that belonged to the apartment. It was very out of character for her and they never heard from her again. (sounds familiar, yes?) I tried to find anyone that lived at those apartments in that time frame and the ones I found that were still alive could not remember her. The owner's daughter said there was a maintainance worker that worked at all of her parent's apartments that had discussed the manager with her and remembered her and her name. I did eventually find him, however by that time he was quite a bit older and had alzheimers, so could not remember very much. At that point I was again stuck. As for employment/tax records there were none on her since the owner would commonly hire a manager "unofficially" in exchange for free rent. When they sold their apartments the buyers tossed all the records the owners had kept. Oxygen channel is planning on a series on serial killers that I will be interviewed for. In the past all the shows wuld edit out the info I would give on more victims in the 1980's in Southern California, but since this one is not focused on Bear Brook only I am certainly hoping and pushing for that info to be included. The only hope to ID more of his victims is someone seeing a show etc. on Rasmussen and his M.O. and saying-hey my neighbor/co-worker (or apt. manager) moved away suddenly, a single mother with young children and it seemed odd and no one ever heard from them again. Then someone may have even met Rasmussen as did Marlyse's family to confirm it was him. There are no doubt many more Rasmussen victims out there.

Maybe your front yard too.
"...the baby and the woman with children he dated existed, there were eyewitnesses. The apartment complexes she may have been manager for were in Fullerton and the other one on Anaheim. LE has linked TR to these apartment complexes..."

Not sure if quoted correctly but info from Unsolved with Steve Gregory, interview with Peter Headley:
Episode 503 - Killer Con Man - Unsolved with Steve Gregory | iHeart

Also, old message on an old missing person site posted by one of his kids:

If she may have been a manager at apartment complex then surely there is a name for her!

Perhaps you missed the post by forthevictims just above yours, which explains why we don’t know a name of the woman who was the apartment manager.

So frustrating to keep coming to road blocks in trying to track him and possible victims.

Tysm for your explanation.

Her dentals are pretty detailed on DoeNetwork. I think if she'd had an overbite (like Denise) it would have said. Do you know her cause of death?
She had an injury to the jaw/back of neck. They suspected strangling but it was broken pretty badly. The dentals on the UID also have a slight overbite just by looking at them physically. The dentals on UId is more focused on the extensive dental work she had. It did not say she had or did not have an overbite as it was more focused on the amount of work done.

Anybody know if there have been any books written about Rasmussen (especially currrent or updated)? I have been only found the podcast and the ‘Chameleon Killer’ documentary. Tia

Sadly i don't think there's enough clear information on him for a good book. He never talked and most of those who could have gave us a lot of insight into him he murdered. "Lisa" was like five when she got away from him so she obviously has very limited memories of him. His first wife and kids who he didn't kill are probably the best source on him but that was before he started killing he seemed like almost a different person then. Then there's so much unaccounted for time.

The podcast is amazing but that would be like 40 pages of a book.

From the oakhill blogspot:

"....He allegedly wrote a "To whom it may concern" note which he sent down south with his daughter. That note indicated the girl was born out of wedlock and that the mother did not want the baby. In the note, Jenson allegedly wrote that he feared the child might be born with Down's Syndrome because the mother was an older woman and that he had planned to bury her "next to an anthill" if the baby didn't have five fingers and toes (on each limb) at birth...." Media on Evans

Just starting to look into this , but could be the actual reason there are no reports found of a missing child. Not saying there are not any just that nothing seems to have been found, yet.

Middle child is a girl. He could of said a boy. Maybe there is a semblance of truth to this.

Another interesting thing is that Anemia seems to be a condition that may be associated with Downs.

Lisa said she had siblings who died while camping with Terry from "eating grass mushrooms". Is it possible one of them was a boy and that's who he is referring to? Lisa was very young but i don't see her just inventing siblings out of thin air, i think that's sadly others who Terry killed. It was said he was seen with numerous families in New Hampshire, that he seemed to always be dating single mothers with young kids.

Don't know how many he met or was with in NH. Only familiar with Denis Beaudin and I guess possibly Marlyse , her two daughters Marie and Sarah, and the bio daughter that no one knows anything about for some reason. Hard to believe that a child missing would not of been reported. Then there is this in Terry's own words: ...

We know he liked to isolate women from their families and friends. He did that to Eunsoon and didn't he also do that with Honeychurch? She left California with him after an argument with her family creating the perfect circumstances for her to disappear. Also the fact she left California and ended up in New Hampshire meant missing person reports didn't really matter at the time with limited communication between LE Departments and limits on technology. There could have been similar circumstances here as he travelled all over the place and was very manipulative and controlling.

Not sure what the argument was about with Marley's mother. Maybe it was an argument about Marlyse leaving the area with Terry. Terry was Born 1943. If that story he said had any truth to it i guess the mother would of been born at the latest 1943, before that maybe. Seemed all the woman I now about were about 13yrs younger. So 13 years older would but a birth date somewhere in the 30's for an older mother of the middle child. Guess it's all speculation and guessing at this point.

I had reviewed his written statement talking about burying Lisa next to an anthill if she wasn't "normal" with the forensic psychologist who profiled him for me. He agreed that with Terry's way of weaving the truth in with all the lies it is highly likely that there is a child out there that he killed and buried next to an anthill. As for when/where/who it is impossible to know.

Oxygen channel has started their series "Unknown serial killers" on Sundays. I was interviewed last year for an episode on Terry Rasmussen and they promised to include info on the mid 1980s victims in the Anaheim area. I don't know when the Rasmussen episode will air yet. I gave them a lot of info, just hoping they include a lot of it. They also interviewed Marlyse's family.
Found the date-this coming Sunday 06/08/2025.

1981 Directory for 925 Hayward Street . Is the year that Robert Evans shows up at this address.

The 1980 directory listing has another person at 925 a Joseph "H*****"

Right about 347 Hayward middle column is P. Daneault 1980 is the year Denise Daneault lived there which if you count the intersecting streets to Hayward you can see it was a number of blocks from 925.

View attachment 225351

This is the directory listing for some Evans's in Manchester 1981 Note 2 particular ones a Robert on Hayward and a Denise on 123 Pleasant Street: I haven't ruled out yet the one on 123 Pleasant Street.
Yes however if leaving Waumbec one could feasible leave Waumbec go straight up Hayward from Elm street to 925 past Daneault's on the way. Hayward use to go straight up from elm to Mammoth road I believe. If for sure went straight up from Elm

One thing bugging me is the women he was with he was with many of them for what I would say an extended period of time.

Not sure but there were many Ants next to where the 2nd Barrel was found. I didn't know where that barrel was found till later. I have gone out to the property .

Rereading the note TPR wrote, it's so weird how he strings events together (for lack of a better term), as in it's true that D/L was born out of wedlock, but Denise wasn't an older lady. There most likely was an older lady, but it wasn't Denise. And it's possible he thought D/L was his, and at the same time, maybe the MC's mother was the older lady, and he was concerned that she would have DS, not D/L, and alluded to how he "buried" the MC but indicated he was referring to D/L. And maybe there is a kernel of truth about the mother not wanting the baby, that's how the MC came to be in his care. I mean, all those statements could be true in some fashion. The crazy difficult part is trying to figure out in what fashion they may be true.
