my news just said that she was driving down 495 and was pulled over by LE, not sure if that is out there yet.

what i first read was that she was sitting in a rest area.

This is so sad. Someone mentioned that "navy mom" was one of the sayings on the truck. It could be that the boy's parent(s) are deployed at this time and that the grandmother had custody of the boy. It would explain the navy mom saying and why the little boy was not reported as missing.

All the media is saying is that the truck plates are registered to a woman in Texas

The truck found in the rest area on Interstate 495 southbound was a blue four-door Toyota pickup truck with Texas license plates, with a license frame bearing the words "Navy Mom," and "U.S. Navy." A witness had told Maine police about a blue pickup truck believed driven by a woman was seen near where the child's body, and may have had a Navy insignia.

According to WHDH live news, the woman is not associated with the Navy. She is a person of interest, in her 40s and is in protective custody.

I'm still listening to the live feed and they keep saying the woman herself has no connection to the military. A male reporter even discounted the eyewitness account of seeing a naval logo...they are probably in the field and haven't looked closely at the pictures to see the "Navy Mom" logo.

Would not confirm if woman was sleeping. Colonel of police will be speaking to the press...haven't heard exactly what time...at least an hour.

Good work to the South Berwick resident who got the description of the truck. I had a feeling they would crack this case today. Still wonder what the story is on this poor little guy. My heart breaks for him!

The woman is the mother of the child and is from Irving TX, per WHDH.
