If I remember correctly that was a posting on her FB account and did not mention listening to any song.

Yes she posted she was <paraphrasing> chillin and listening to that song. Do a search of the song and you'll find links quoting the fb post. Her fb page was taken down

It must be Massachusetts??

A couple of ideas in answer to the questions (that I am too lazy to research right now, lol).

If you can enlarge the photos of the "For Rent" signs, there seems to be a phone number on the bottom. If it's a local number, probably someone or an agency is handling the rental. Otherwise if it's not local, maybe the owner lives elsewhere?
That could indicate who was actually going to be showing the apartment. Phone numbers can be researched on reverselookup.com to see where or who they are.

Past issues of the Colebrook Chronicle may have the listing if it was advertised prior to 7/26. I believe it comes out on Fridays, and in looking at the two most recent copies from 8/12 and 8/19 saw some rentals listed. Not sure if it was listed back on 7/23 or prior. If so, I wonder if LE researched who it may have been shown to that might have noticed access, family in Celina's apt, and so on.

On another note, the New England town I live in had its own "Old Home Days" this weekend, and as I watched the parade I tried to picture the float Celina's mom and sister rode in. I do think with the total support of the community behind them, and in a smaller town than mine, some sort of tribute in the parade would be appropriate. I'm just not sure about the float or her mom being on it.

I haven't been able to find the post but it was discussed earlier that she had a song she mentioned in an email or facebook or a chat. "Its getting hot in here"...not sure it that is the title or just words from the song.

I don't remember who posted it but if the poster reads this please help us out on this.............

I don't think she actually said that was the song she was listening to. The quote went something like "chilling listening to music it's getting hot in here" and then that she was thinking of going for a walk. Question is, was it that song "It's getting hot in here" she was listening to, or was it literally getting hot in the house so she was thinking of going for a walk.....or, I suppose, you could interpret "it's getting hot in here" to mean hot as in uncomfortable or something else. I don't think we know for sure. And she was chatting on fb I thought, not on the phone.

These interpretations are just like a game of "telephone" aren't they....

Liz, this is what the post states- FWIW
IF that time is correct, I have been told that sometimes the times on FB are not exact

Man, if this is the song Celina was listening to, eesh:

Nelly - Hot In Here (Official Music Video 720p HD) + Lyrics - YouTube

I don't have a problem with the song. I always thought it was sort of funny. But I don't like 11 year old little kids listening to or watching this kind of stuff. Much too young, IMO.

My bad. I knew it was from 3 days before. I should have thought first. I think you corrected me on that once before. I have got to start getting to bed earlier..............

No worries, friend. It is hard to know because they deleted her FB page.

I don't know a lot about this case and have not read every post so forgive me.

Her body was found wrapped in a blanket. Has there been any report of a blanket missing from her bed or the home? If she went for a walk and got hit by a drunk driver, why the blanket?

I believe the high reward money is probably for a family member to step forward or friend and neighbor.

I think the blanket is still up for debate. It needs more clarification imo. It has been reported by MSM, but did they get the info from LE, or did they assume it from watching the same videos we did. We saw that the body was wrapped by the rescuers when it was lifted out of the water. Was that what the news reporters were referring to? Or was there another blanket wrapped around her when she was 'placed' ?

yep, the blanket isn't LE publicly stated
up for grabs , so to speak

Sorry , Not to be morbid, but I wish LE had been more direct in what they saw underwater and then out of water, that implied a suspicious death...wounds. ligature marks, broken bones, skull fractures, etc?? WAS there a blanket and that the indicator?

I guess it is all subjective. Being from California I do not consider 200 miles all that far. And I consider the New England states to be rather small in comparison to the majority of states.

BBM

I suppose it all depends on what you mean by "not far away" because the distance separating West Stewartstown, New Hampshire and Somerville, Massachusetts is over 200 miles.....

When you say "the states are so small" to what states are you referring and to what states are you drawing a comparison?

The only Somerville I know of is in Mass. But it is not far away since the states are so small.

Listing of the 50 states ranked by size in square miles

43 Vermont 9,615
44 New Hampshire 9,283
45 Massachusetts 8,262

For me 200 miles is nothing, but it depends on what you're used to traveling to get where you need to be.

Hello Everyone, I am new to WS, but wanted to join in on this case and find out what happened to dear Celina. I've followed from the beginning and my belief is that most 11 yr. old girls are rather afraid to go out by themselves into the dark late at night. I am more inclined to believe that whatever happened to this girl, happened sometime after her mother went to bed around 9:00 pm. What I really want to know is if the SF was at home or elsewhere when the mother last saw her daughter?

My next question pertains to the latest article in the Colebrook Chronicle that emphasizes the need for public info. Could it be that non of the occupants are cooperating with LE? I count approximately 7 people who lived or were within the home and don't understand why none of these people can give a detailed account of Celina's activities the days before she went missing and what was going on after.

My guess is that LE wants anyone who can verify whatever it is the family and household have told LE. There has been no indication that they are not receiving cooperation...but they might still want some proof beyond what they are being told. Also, might want info from anyone who saw her at all during those days before she was reported missing. It is a good idea...I still don't understand why LE in some other cases (i.e. Holly Bobo) haven't asked the public about seeing Holly in the days leading up to her abduction, where she was seen, who she was talking to etc...JMO.

Good point, especially if the perp would be trying for the insanty plea...the prosecution would want every bit of information for the dots to be clearly connected. I stopped posting after the last press conference because I was disappointed..in thinking this was going to be slam dunk especially with all the hype on the AG's abilities. You just made me realize they are likely to be just tightning their evidence for no little holes. TY

Welcome Texsun!!!!!!:greetings:
