“He had lived in Elizabeth NJ, Saint Petersburg, FL, and Earlimont CA….”

Trying to research these places and coming up empty on “Earlimont”. Could it “Earlimart”?

It was 1987, I’m not sure of the exact date. I will keep searching and see if I can come across it somewhere.
Thanks hugely TProffessor... I really do know you are staying on top of this case...
I just hope someday we do see some resolve... it is a case with a possibility, rather than dread.

Murder She Told Podcast just released a 2 Part Episode about Charles and William's disappearances. I really can't believe they haven't been found yet. Charles. the dad is 83 years old now.

I've wondered if the boys are older Does. Charles seems like the kind of man to quietly plot to get rid of anyone who is not cooperating with his worldview. IMO I question if he cared about anyone, or if he viewed his children as obedient objects. If the boys got older and started to question, maybe planned to get rid of them.

Thank you for sharing chaddylex! I just finished listening to it and feel like I learned quite a bit of new info (at least new to me anyway).
At 83, I wonder if he’s still alive but then given that his parents lived into their 90’s, I have a feeling he’s probably still out there living life :(

Still hope that Ruth will find her boys.
And I really wonder, if it's still possible to track through heritage from Charles parents, who passed away.
Here it states, that Charles father is survived by his brother-in-law, Lawrence Becker of Willington, CT.'(wich I find very odd, no mention of his son and grandsons)
Charles L Vosseler (1917-2014) - Find a Grave...

And it seems that Lawrence, the bil of Charles Vosseler Sr. also passed away, and was also successful in business.

Could be that Charles, the kidnapper is hidden in plain side, with a family like that? (from his mother's side)
Remember what Ruth said about her mother in law?
Wasn't it, something like "some people you can use, and some are in the way"

I do think, they have more knowledge about Charles and the kidnapping, then they share.
Didn't the extended family, question the whole created situation, wich leaded to decades of missing Ruth's boys
Weren't they worried, that Charles would traumatise, the young boys, att?
I have never seen any compassion, or statements from that family.
Hard to understand, I would speak up on behalf of the children.
MOO

Hey, so I had a write-up about a 1988 John Doe called Ulster County John Doe. He had been found in a wooded area, and it's believed he shot himself. His body was decomposed enough that his face was unrecognizable, but he was found with a photograph of a man holding a baby. (It needs to be noted that they aren't sure the man in the photo is the decedent.) The man was thought to be between 40 to 50 years old, stood 5'11" to 6'3", and weighed 185 to 205 pounds.

I was contacted by a woman who thinks that this could be Charles. I saw the Most Wanted FBI poster and agreed. I went ahead and sent off the tip to Doe Network. The wrinkle in that is that Charles doesn't have his own separate NamUs/Doe Network profile, so I had to use his son's profile when dropping off the tip. Mary Bell got back to me and said they were going to send this off to the panel, so we'll see what happens.

It is thought that the Doe was from Europe, but I can seriously see A LOT of resemblance between Charles Vosseler and the man in the photograph holding a baby.

We'll see where this goes.
