Attorney- 'Is Emily a friend of your's?'

Kat's response 'hmmmmmmmmmmmmm'

AKA covering your behind.

Translation: Let me figure out why this matters before I answer.

Watch her face, she gets a wounded look whenever he's catching her out, the more she talks and tries to explain it away that expression drops off.

Your opinions please:
Do you think she is helping or hurting the pros thus far?

Helping. I think she is being bullied by the defense and I feel sorrier for her here than I have during the entire trial.

ok is this a trial to get her immunity revoked? :banghead:

Atty Barth has brought up the issue of Kat's assertion to the grand jury that Seth kept her from friends, isolated her... but Barth is pointing out texts and contacts from friends... and suggests that some friends actually moved away or went to college anyway...

Yep. Seeing it and it is p*ssing me off. :steamed:
She dares to look wounded after she killed Lizzie?
(And yes, I thought about this all weekend, I believe they both had equal parts in killing her. It scares me to think what they might have really done to her, seeing as we have no body to confirm anything).

I keep hoping Seth will take the stand, that she will say something that pushes him to say screw it and take her down with him.
Honestly though, I think he still loves her and is not going to do it.

I really don't get how he'll be able to defend Seth without putting him on the stand, Kat has pretty much cremated his character.

I think she is helping too. She is doing well with all his confusing and pointless questions so far.

Man, I hope he switches gears this afternoon. ( sorry, I know I've said that countless times)

I have mixed feelings..I think she is holding up well and countering his attempts to make her sound like the controlling one...has defense attorney made some points...yes I think he has but overall I don't think major points will be made until he gets to the actual murder night and creates some doubt about her physical involvement in the killing...if he can do that then Seth will probably get off with a lesser charge.

but with all this going over things over and over again he could lose any ground he may have achieved due to jury losing interest...

Just wondering...can that happen...I would think immunity cannot be taken back....but for example what if she broke down and said that she did it on the stand? I don't legally know about immunity and what can happen.

What are they arguing about?

If they can prove she lied she can lose her immunity.

Yet another incredibly sobering moment in the process of this trial ... day to day testimony takes us down so many roads ... but remembering what a big day tomorrow would be in Lizzi Marriott's life... brings it back to why we are here.

The jury is out and Kat is also out of the courtroom... the Defense making its case for presenting the conversations between Kat and her friend Andrea... that the state is calling hearsay... but the defense says its important to show what it feels is the correct picture of Kat McDonought as opposed to what she would lead the jury to believe...

I think the best the defense can do is impeach her. imo Seth is guilty of 1st degree murder otherwise he wouldn't have written a letter while in jail trying to rewrite the events of that night.
