Found Deceased NH - George Cross, 65, Berlin, 1 Sept 2019

65-year-old George Cross first reported him missing at the start of September. They say he is a usually walking around downtown Berlin and the Goebel St. area. Cross doesn't drive and that it's very unusual to not see him in public. Cross is six feet tall and 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, jeans and boots.

His disappearance has been has been an ongoing investigation since the beginning of this month. He was last seen on or about Sept 1.

Below are two photos of Cross. He has been known to have a beard at times and other times, he does not.

OCT 10 2019
PD is continuing their search for Cross. Last known siting was early Sept 2019. Frequently visited areas have been searched and nothing has turned up thus far. Cross has a tattoo of a green snake on his right shoulder. A skull and crossbones tattoo is on his upper right arm. He may also have a gold earring in his left ear.

Police identify body of Berlin man missing since last year

Last Thursday police received information that human remains had been found in a wooded area behind Kent Street. On May 22 an autopsy was performed, and the body was positively identified as Cross.


The state medical examiner determined his death was not suspicious, but the cause and manner of death remain undetermined at this time.
