Adam Montgomery denies killing daughter as he's sentenced to prison on weapons charges
A Manchester father accused of killing his 5-year-old daughter denied that he killed her Monday when he spoke in court before he was sentenced to decades in prison on unrelated weapons charges.

The state alleges that Adam Montgomery killed Harmony in December 2019. He has been charged with second-degree murder, falsifying physical evidence, abuse of a corpse and tampering with a witness or informant.
Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said he hopes news of Montgomery's sentence will encourage more people to come forward as police continue to search for Harmony's remains.
"I am still convinced that there are people out there that know more about the whereabouts of Harmony, and I encourage you to contact the Manchester Police Department," Aldenberg said.
Jury selection for that trial is scheduled for Nov. 20.

After hearing from both sides, Hillsborough Superior Court Judge Amy Messer sentenced Montgomery to at least 30 years in prison and up to 60 years on the charges of being an armed career criminal. He was also sentenced to an additional 7 1/2 to 15 years for receiving stolen property and theft. On each of those sentences, five years can be suspended for good behavior.

The appeal was filed under Rule 7, which means it's mandatory for the New Hampshire Supreme Court to take up, according to legal experts. Bigger states have intermediary appellate courts, but because New Hampshire is small, this is the only option for appeal.

Miller described trying to adopt Harmony as well and being rebuffed. He said he attempted to connect the siblings before Harmony’s disappearance, but it never happened.
“Jamison wanted to know how she was doing,” said Miller. “He wanted to hear her voice. Never did anyone here in Massachusetts ever help Jamison deal with this relationship. Never did anyone ever give us the tools to help connect us, or provide a sibling visitation between Jamison and Harmony."
Miller added, that there could have been communication between Harmony and her brother, if there had been supports in place.
“There could have been FaceTime calls, maybe. There could have been in person visits. There could have been opportunities to see how Harmony was doing … We could have seen that Harmony was surrounded by trouble.”

I found this case on a podcast and immediately ran to websleuths for her threads. This man deserves to rot for what he did to this sweet baby. He should’ve never been allowed custody. Everyone failed this precious girl and I am pissed off beyond belief. To tote her around the way he did.. W T F. Speak up AM and tell where you disposed of your child. She deserves that. She deserves to be in her final resting place where her baby brother can come visit her whenever he wants to. I can’t say much more or I’ll get a permanent ban.. but he doesn’t deserve the same oxygen we all breathe.
