maybe no money but closure. Potential to get to Grill AM and dcys. The phone call in April 2019 where she witnessed him get upset with Harmony then blocked her on everything and kept changing addresses and no one would listen to CS about his abusive and elusive behavior until it was way too late.

I’m following this case a bit delayed on YouTube. This whole subculture of addiction is just sad. I can’t imagine living in a car and the only focus of my life getting my next hit. Eating baby food, freezing, stealing, etc. it’s a lot of work to always have to hustle I imagine.

Obviously adding kids to it is horrible. Did their families know they were living in a car with babies during winter? That was unclear to me.

Most everyone in this case just seems sad and down and out. It’s very depressing. I hope the 3 remaining kids can have a good life. Sweet little Harmony. Such an angelic little girl with a beautiful name. The horror she experienced is unforgettable.

Generally, 'wrongful death' claims are time sensitive in all states and have very specific rules on who has standing to file suit on behalf of the decedent. Here, CS is preserving her rights and also seeks to declare Harmony dead.

Also today, we have learned that #HarmonyMontgomery's mother, Crystal Sorey, has filed a request with the courts to officially declare her daughter dead. A hearing will be held on March 11.

She is asking to be named the sole administrator of Harmony's estate. By law, Crystal and Adam are the heirs to it as of right now.

No Adams dad , Michael Montgomery Sr. passed yesterday and a family friend set up a go fund me. He remarried a women named Kali who looks a lot like Kayla. They had four children. They all look like Harmony and Adam. So for him to say she looked like Crystal is crazy I think he hated all women unless they were high as a kite and bowing down to him.

News 9 has learned Adam Montgomery’s father died over the weekend. A close relative told News 9 he overdosed.

He was living in Florida and had four children -- the youngest are 3-year-old twins.

Adam Montgomery's attorneys claim his rights were violated during Kayla Montgomery's testimony. They also accused prosecutors of trying to influence Kayla Montgomery's testimony by informing her attorney of information in the defense's opening statements.

In their motion, the defense says prosecutors informed Kayla Montgomery's attorney that Kayla Montgomery being alone with Harmony would be “an area of attack by the defense” during cross-examination and asked Garrity to “discuss that with Kayla, to apprise her of it.”

In its objection, the state calls the defense's motion, "fantastically mistitled." Prosecutors say the state did not direct Kayla Montgomery's attorney to speak to his client. Rather, the state provided Attorney Garrity with information to adequately represent his client.

Adam Montgomery's attorney has also filed a motion to dismiss the charges of second-degree assault, second-degree murder and witness tampering. The judge has denied the motion.

Adam Montgomery has not been in court for the trial since jury selection. Messer noted that if he waives his right to appear in court Wednesday, that will also mean he is waiving his right to testify.

he allegedly told that witness Harmony reminded him of Harmony's mother, his ex, and that he hated her (the child's mother) to her core and presumably hated Harmony the same way. At least that's how I took it.

Taking custody of Harmony was the ultimate revenge upon her mother, who he hated to the core. The extra benefits sure didn't hurt, but MOO He couldn't beat Harmony's mom anymore, and Harmony was the next best place to release his rage towards Sorey.
