We knew it would be bad. I felt ready for the details. but that timeline of her little remains and all those moves and attempts to hide or secrete them. I am gutted by those details.

A cooler in common hallway in an apartment building on Dubuque.
FIT shelter.
A plastic tub and a refrigerator followed by a small maternity bag and the freezer all at an apartment on Union Street.
The freezer at a business named Portland Pie Company.
an Econolodge or Comfort Inn hotel in Manchester and a U-haul truck.
Wherever AM took her to finally dispose of what was left of her.

Not alot shocks me anymore, but the number of times he desecrated her little body and moved her remains is hard to process.

She was whimpering/moaning in the backseat for 5-10 mins after she was brutally assaulted.....and no one even checked on her once.

Remember the little adopted brother who said Harmony looked out for him while they first bounced around the foster system? All adults failed here....


Don't do drugs.

It takes a helluva guy to punch a little 5 yr old with closed fists in the head for having accidents while living in a car.
Heroin, Fentanyl and her Food stamps were loved more then just giving her up to have a life.
She should have been safe and warm and at least had a toilet!

Harmony Montgomery's dad hid her body for months before disposing of it, police say

Adam Montgomery, 33, pleaded not guilty in October to second-degree murder, falsifying physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

For the next three months, investigators allege, Adam Montgomery moved the body from container to container and place to place. According to his wife, the locations included the trunk of a friend’s car, a cooler in the hallway of his mother-in-law’s apartment building, the ceiling vent of a homeless shelter and an apartment freezer.

At one point, the remains were kept in a tote bag from a hospital maternity ward, and Kayla Montgomery said she placed it in between her own young children in a stroller and brought it to her husband’s workplace.

‘I really hurt her’: Affidavit reveals horrifying new details in murder of Harmony Montgomery

Adam Montgomery beat his daughter to death in a fit of rage after she had a “bathroom accident” in the car, according to investigators.

At a subsequent point in time, Adam allegedly moved his daughter’s remains into a Catholic Medical Center maternity bag while spending hours in the bathroom with the shower running.

After reading the stomach-churning affidavit, I'm relieved to learn that the restaurant where Adam stashed Harmony's body is no longer in business. Portland Pie Company is a small chain of pizza restaurants in Maine. They had a few locations in New Hampshire but they closed before Covid. The Maine restaurants are still open.

Adam worked at Portland Pie in Manchester as a dishwasher for about 5 weeks, mid-January through 3rd week in February 2020. The Manchester location abruptly closed its doors on March 1, 2020.

Agree. It's heartbreaking.

Packing her up, repacking her, moving her and moving her again.

Like he could not bear to lose control over the tiny person he'd hated, brutalized and finally murdered.

Each location another desecration -- including the shelters, restaurants, etc. He harmed them all.

And with every move another chance for KM to report this before Harmony was hidden away for the last time. How many moves and how many chances?

When Adam Montgomery tried to fit Harmony back in the bag, he struggled.

"Kayla described Adam eventually pushing and pushing on Harmony's body, and then she heard a bang," according to the affidavit.

In March 2020, Adam Montgomery's friend rented a U-Haul for him, which he used to dump Harmony's body in the middle of the night, according to his wife.

He returned that same morning and told her, "It’s done." Toll data shows the truck crossed the Tobin Bridge in Boston several times.

Thinking of Harmony's brother today, Harmony's mother, and Harmony's brothers' parents. May they have the support they need to get through this, as they learn this information about Harmony's last days.

I listened to someone read the document. Iirc Kayla said he was in the bathroom 4-6 hours, with the shower running. I don't think there was anything but small pieces left. I don't think they included information as to what they did with the clothes after Kayla helped him take them off at the beginning of shower time. On the stream where I listened, it was pointed out that Kayla had to have bathed her 2 kids in the same place later on.
