What a horrifying disgusting description ! This jury will need some TLC. I believe the judge is watching them closely during this opening statement. Poor Harmony.

I gotta say, I am on the fence here, because it really is, "he said, she said". And that is "reasonable doubt" all over.

Once again, not in school. I hate that. It is such a red flag.

The story the defense is using during opening statements is long, confusing and over the top. Kayla....Kayla.....Kayla.
She surely will be questioned repeatedly during her testimony, however for now...? The jury has to be confused. It will be, in the end, who do you believe? Kayla who lies? Or, the coward who cannot appear in court?

from defense opening their story is Kayla did it while Adam was not around and Kayla's story is complete fallacy. Defense is hanging a lot on how Kayla doesn't describe the events in her version in the way defense feels she should have.

I can't wait to see how they explain the why of what Adam IS copping to, the abuse of a corpse, etc.

Yeah he's so dang traumatized and upset by it that he continually moved the corpse around and falsified evidence, and now refuses to give up the location of her. Are they forgetting he's pleading guilty to abuse of a corpse?

She has testified as to what Harmony's weight was at an appt. I believe she said it was 35.20 kilograms (?).

When Adam and Kayla moved in at first they just had Shamus. Then a baby was born, and then Harmony. Kevin's room was just across the hall from Harmony's.
