Update: Prosecutors say Adam Montgomery who’s already serving time in another case will be 118 years old when he’s eligible for parole or the year 2142…today between all the charges he was sentenced to 56 years to life for killing his 5 year old daughter Harmony #7News

GOOD!

I dont think she knows. I think adam is the only one who knows. Kayla wouldve said something imo
I agree. Generally, of a plea agreement such as for KM, would be conditional on her passing a polygraph. KM is protected by double jeopardy, and NH messed up enough already that the State would not dare risk, KM, after the fact, saying she knows more than she offered.

Well this explain a why a sentence reduction wasn't really appealing to him IMO

That math seems to be incorrect l. 2142 is 118 years away, Adam is 33. Wouldn't that mean he'd be 151 years old?

I'm still reeling about the defense's statements.

Yes I know their job is to defend their client vigorously, even if that means lying or "bending the truth," but is it really necessary to say the state's final offer is a publicity stunt and insist your client loved his daughter he beat to death and nothing is his fault? Does Caroline for some reason really believe this sociopathic druggie is innocent or something? MOO.

Kayla Montgomery was released today. She’s on probation until 11/03/28.
She should be in prison for the rest of her life but at least the monster she married will remain in a cage for the rest of his life.

A man convicted of murdering his 5-year-old daughter is asking a panel of judges to review his sentence.

Adam Montgomery was sentenced last month to 56 years to life in prison for killing his daughter, Harmony.

The request comes as Montgomery still faces additional charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, interference with custody and two charges in unrelated weapons cases.

In sentencing Montgomery on May 9, Judge Amy Messer told him that he had taken a human life in the most callous and heartless way. She then sentenced Montgomery to 56 years to life.

Montgomery has maintained his innocence and is appealing the conviction and the sentence.

Former Hillsborough County Attorney Patricia LaFrance, of Black, LaFrance, & Bollinger, who is not affiliated with the case, said Montgomery's attorneys will likely argue that the sentence is excessive.

Gender should not (de facto) be part of sentencing. JMO

JUN 6, 2024
At the time, Montgomery, 34, didn't take an offer, extended in court by Senior Assistant New Hampshire Attorney General Benjamin Agati, for prosecutors to shorten the length of the sentence they were requesting if he provided the location of Harmony's remains.

After that sentencing on May 9, 2023, Montgomery had 30 days to apply for sentence review. The case will go before a board of three - either judicial referees or superior court judges. The board may opt to decrease or increase the sentence within the minimums and maximums allowed by law, or may make no changes.
