One of the posters on this twitter account replied that maybe LE brought in a refrigerator to replace the fridge in the apartment where they are searching, to give the current tenants a refrigerator because LE is taking the refrigerator that comes with the apartment due to finding some evidence during their search.

I'm not a fan of that at all. I can't imagine the Feds keep a collection of replacement refrigerators, or that they would be concerned at all about that in a murder investigation.

My guess is that it's to preserve biological evidence.

I thought the same thing. But a refrigerator seems odd. I would think more likely a chest freezer or something similar. Perhaps this is all they had available to get it there quickly.

You're probably correct on that. They may be at this location for a lengthy amount of time.
