All I can say is this case absolutely breaks my heart. Just don’t have children if you care about them this little.

Also… was the father arrested in connection with her disappearing or just based on his past horrific admitted behavior?

Mine too!
I cannot get the song Harmony by Elton John out of my head.

" Harmony and me-ee.....We're pretty good company.."

Sorry to some, if I have planted an ear-worm now

Where are you, little mouse?

Unfortunately, I think she's probably passed on. moo jmho.

Sad to think that COVID might have played a part in this little girl missing for so long without being noticed. I have a family member who is a social worker, and other than for extreme circumstances, home visits were greatly reduced, especially during the first year of the pandemic. There is no way a case worker shouldn’t have known this little girl was missing. I’m all for COVID safety measures, but my heart breaks for all the kids being abused that haven’t been reported due to them no longer being in school and welfare visits being virtual or cancelled all together.

You can say that again.
Someone here brought up that the teardrop tattoo indicates a murder ?
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. ?
Did AM kill before ?
Imo.

He was arrested on suspicion of striking her in the face and causing a black eye (a felony) plus endangering her welfare and interference with custody:

"...charges including second-degree assault connected to an incident in 2019 involving the missing girl, interference with custody and endangering the welfare of a child. The assault charge is a felony."

Source: Missing NH girl's father arrested as search continues

They can add charges as more of his behavior is uncovered.

After reading the article that @RT51 posted - I doubt this poor little girl is still with us. I hope I’m wrong.

on his (AM)fb there is another 7 year old named a similar H name. Did he have 2 blonde 7 year old daughters? (He was wishing her a happy birthday)

I found the page I believe you are referring to and I do not think that is the correct AM.

Still a lot of unanswered questions and discrepancies we’re trying to sort out. Example: affidavit reads initial contact from #HarmonyMontgomery’s mom w MPD mid-Nov. MPD said from get-go they weren’t notified until last week. I’ve asked, waiting to hear back from MPD on this.

Agreed. Best case scenario is that her body is recovered, and daddy is charged with murder.

Just realized little HM was born just 6 days before my son. :(

6. Beginning on 12/27/2021, members of the Manchester Police Department actively made attempts to track down AM and to talk to family members to establish the last time that HM was physically observed, and known to be safe. Officers and investigators were initially unable to make contact with AM via phone. However, investigators were able to make contact with various family members including parties associated with AM who reside in Florida.
7. On 12/30/2021, Detective CA was able to make contact with AM's brother, MM (birthdate), who raised concern for HM's welfare. MM recalled during his last physical contact with HM and AM, he had concerns that AM was physically abusive towards HM. MM recalled that AM was "super short" with the child, and he learned through other family members that AM had given HM a black eye.
8. On 12/30/2021, Detective CA also spoke with AM's uncle, KM (birthdate), regarding concerns for HM. KM said that he has not seen AM or HM since late 2019. However, KM had first hand knowledge of the child's eye injury from 2019. KM said that he returned to Manchester in July 2019 after a trip to Florida and observed HM with a black eye. KM notified DCYF after the fact with concern for the injury. (rest is redacted)
9. During his 12/30/2021 interview with KM, Detective CA asked KM how HM sustained the injury to her eye. KM said that AM told him that he had caused the injury to HM. AM told KM at the time, "I bashed her around this house." AM explained that he had left HM, who would have been 5 years old at the time, in charge of watching her infant brother while AM was in the bathroom. Allegedly the younger brother began crying during that time. AM told KM that he returned and found HM holding her hand over the child's mouth to stop him from crying. AM told KM that he responded by striking HM in the face and causing the black eye. KM said that he believed AM had relapsed on drugs during that time frame. KM recalled other forms of abusive discipline during that time frame that raised his concerns. KM recalled HM being spanked hard on the butt, HM being forced to stand in the corner for hours, and AM ordering HM to scrub the toilet with her toothbrush.
10. (Redacted)
I actually had to walk away after reading this earlier. I literally felt sick.

Parents in my NH Foster Parents group are very upset. Everyone is complaining about DCYF and how bio parents are given 5th, 6th chances for reunification. Kids end up in so many *different* foster homes because they are pulled out of a happy, healthy foster home to be "reunified" and that foster family is assigned a new child to care for. Weeks or maybe months later when the original child is taken from the bio parent again, the original foster family is not available so the child is placed with a new foster family. It's so disruptive and unnecessary.

I hope they find her even if it’s just to provide closure. As a dad to a 5 year old girl this hurts my heart in awful ways.

The dad can go to hell. And I hope someone sends him there soon

It's disruptive, unnecessary and truly heart wrenching!
Please, thank them all!

I heard the adoption father of Harmony's half-brother talking with NG earlier and he said that little brother had been in 9 foster homes -- and he was only 3!
