evidence seized at a property in conway!

Smart that they brought to forensics truck TO the car instead of moving the car to the forensics location. Preserves more evidence around the car and under it.

Presser Recap

-2 search warrants signed.

-Seized 2 vehicles. 1 is Krista's. 1 is additional vehicle that was found in N. Conway.

-Brought Crime Scene Evidence vehicle to PD to help to analyze evidence faster.

-Conway PD won't comment specifically on evidence. Won't disclose owner of 2nd vehicle they seized.

-Applied for search warrants for cell phone records, including Krista's.

-Draining a retention pond currently/as we speak to see to the bottom of it because the water was too murky for searchers to see. There is no evidence Krista is in the water. It's just a precaution/component of elimination.

-Police have no information to believe she is not alive. Their goal is to reunite her with her family.

-Their investigation is focused in the immediate area.

-No mass physical search going on currently. Will not have another large scale search unless evidence leads them there.

-Looking at all aspects of the case (electronic, and otherwise).

-Interviewing family members, coworkers, friends, etc.

-Nothing in her background that suggests she voluntarily left. She has no criminal record.

-Will not discuss childs father, baby's family, Krista's family, etc.

-Lived with roommates. Not with baby's father, family, etc.

-No more updates unless there's a major crack in the case. Working on Krista's case 24 hours a day.

-LE doesn't know if she drove the car, or if someone else drove the car.

-Driver door was slightly ajar.

Retention pond drained only bc was murky and divers couldn't see in it. Draining as a process of exclusion.

retention pond... taking a look and moving on... the duck pond and firefighting water... they are draining the one with firefighting water.. no evidence in and around the duck pond... so they are not draining that one

No evidence to think she ISN'T alive. Investigation is focused in the immediate area. Used a fixed wing aircraft this afternoon and flew over the relevant areas and photographed it - nothing specific.
