They are not going to speculate. They will not say who drove the car because they don't know.

((((interesting so why drain the other one... my comment)))))))

sbm

The retention pond is too murky, the duck pond isn't, so they could search it without having to drain it..They said it was only to rule out her being in the water..Was that your Q Nurse?

not going to speculate on any aspect of this case... don't know if she or someone else drove car..

reporter asks about seat being back

LE does the double speak thing

additional personnel brought in to man tip line

Cell phone records and 2 cars. Brought in ancillary help to assist with called-in tips. Significance is in the eye of the beholder. (LOVE that!)

Some people called to tell LE it's suspicious the hazard lights were on. Really people?? I think LE has that covered. Don't tie up the tip lines. :(

DA is lending assistance:

LE says very important with warrants, etc... it is assistance from the state..

Yes!!

This guy (Christopher Perly, I think was his name..the leutinent) is excellent, in my opinion.

IIRC, he said it's New Hampshire LE "policy" never to reveal investigation issues yet he did give away kinda a lot of info which is much appreciated!

He cut to the chase. There wasn't any of the double talk that we see in some cases. He said what he could say and no more than that.
He was great!!!

They cut into ABC's channel in Boston (during GH!) for part of the PC which isn't very common for this type of 'news' coming from NH, other NE states, or all others for that matter..They must think this is really BIG news..My guess is cos a BABY was left in the car?

I was very impressed with this PC too..Many believe NH is a 'hick' state (no offense anyone!) but I think you can judge for yourself (at least from the little you saw from LE) it's really not..Some tend to see this as a sign of proof justified or not.

Smart that they brought to forensics truck TO the car instead of moving the car to the forensics location. Preserves more evidence around the car and under it.

From Concord, NH which is the state capitol.

thank you so much for highlighting that Kaylenn! That means.... it would put her there around 0430... which means the latest she could have left portland would be around 0330..

I sure hope they are interviewing those roommates!

I think the key here is where was she when she last spoke to her family at 8pm the previous night. If she was at home, if she was in Concord already, etc.
If she was in Concord on Friday and didn't return home before she went missing, that may rule out the roommates.

I know there's a certain time of yr when Laconia, NH is over-run with 'motorcycles' for races & basically just to gather together..Many are hard-core 'bikers' vs more recreational 'riders'..So, I have 2 Q's for the locals.

How far is Laconia from No. Conway?
Which weekend is this held?

TIA!
