Also, I'm wondering what either Brianna or Maura would have done if someone in an unmarked police looking car would have pulled up to them the night they had their accidents. Do you think they would have just taken a ride from someone that had all the equipment in their car like any unmarked police car would have? I think that nearly anyone would just take it for granted that it was actually a policeman. Is it possible this is what happened? I have many men in my website that have been captured in New Hampshire, Mass, Connecticut, Vermont, New York and Maine. I can put them here, if Bruce wants me to, if not you can go there and look at them. They are in the large thread Police Officer Crime/Authority Crime/Officer Impersonation.

Perhaps a sex offender with a prior of impersonation of a police officer?

PORTSMOUTH A convicted sex offender has been charged with impersonating a police officer and then handcuffing and sexually assaulting a woman.

He has previously been convicted for sex crimes in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, according to court records.

Hope said the charges came after a woman reported that, sometime before 1 a.m., she was approached by a car near the intersection of Turnpike Road and Rodman Avenue.

She said she believed the vehicle was an unmarked police car and that the man driving it showed her a badge.

He then handcuffed the victim and ordered her to perform sexual acts, Hope said. It was unclear how the woman got away , but she called police.

The victim provided police with a detailed description of the suspects vehicle and license plate, Hope said. An officer later found the green, 1994 F-150 Ford pick up she described parked in the Mid-City area.

When it was searched, police found a toy, silver badge, handcuffs, a handcuff key and a list of eight names with addresses, including that of the victim.

Investigators later located two of the other people on the list and questioned them. Police described them as victims, but it was unclear if they also were assaulted.

I so feel for Maura's family, living life in limbo day after day with no news. I cannot even begin to imagine. LE's reaction in this case is mind boggling to say the least. prayers they get answers soon.

If it is a cop then it will take some serious work to make an arrest. I hate to say it but I doubt he will ever be caught, unless a victim gets away and can ID him but even then, the police have a bond so who knows.

"Baron, a psychic profiler who helped lead police to finding the body of a man who had committed suicide in a cornfield in the Midwest, has provided Fred Murray with a description of the person who picked her up as well as the type of vehicle.

She has also told him in what kind of an area Maura can be found.

"I have been in touch with Maura," Baron said.

Maura met with foul play the same night as the accident, she said.

What really concerns Murray, is what else Baron has told her. She has told him there is another woman who can be found near Maura who has fallen victim to the same person. And, Baron also told him there have been others.

Murray does not want too many details released right away to the public until the state police have had time to analyze the information and search possible locations.

Baron has been able to obtain somewhat of a description about the man as well as where she can possibly be found by talking twice with Maura's father via the telephone for a total of about 21/2 hours.

"It's called remote viewing," she said, referring to how she obtained the information about what happened to Maura by talking to her father.

Murray said he spoke with Lt. John Scarinza and others from New Hampshire State Police Troop F Friday.

"I gave them my theory that someone picked her up," he said."
