There's some interesting stuff about her phone on there too.
I noticed a few comments about finding her phone. And her coat. Not leading to a positive outcome. IMO

Snipped, BBM

"Northern states" encompasses a lot of states. This type of camping may be common in the NE, but not in the NW. MOO.
And not all campgrounds are like this. Some are, mostly closer to the Jersey Shore area, where people stay for summer. Some in the PA mountains too, again using as summer homes. But we camp in many places where reservations are required and also there is a camp host who stays for the summer to be helpful and regulate noise levels, rules etc. This one where Nicole was staying seems to be a combo of permanent (seasonal) and vacationing residents..

If she is in that very cold water (<50 degrees F), she won't float for 2 weeks. :(

Who was she partying with? Her husband? Her girlfriends?

I've searched for her husband/boyfriend/girlfriend pleading for her return, but can't find him or her in any interviews.

Police Search For Missing Woman In Raymond, NH

According to Davis’s family, police have found her cell phone and plan to continue searching into the night.

“Since Saturday, there’s been extensive searching going on, everybody has been helping nonstop. There’s so many people that have come this way, volunteers, there’s dogs. They’ve done helicopters, they’ve done — they’ve had a sonar go in there to check [the] whole river. Nothing is in there which, you know, gives us hope,” said mother Debbie Feddersen. She believes her daughter is alive.

Her mother has verified the comment info as to her coat and there's an additional disturbing detail. Her Mom says she'd consumed too much alcohol, was seen getting into a camper THAT WAS NOT HERS, turned around and was not seen again. They have found her jacket, her phone, and her chapstick all in the same area. Prayers for this lovely young woman. It's been down in the low 40's at night. ‘We just want her to come home’: Mother of missing woman last seen walking away from NH campground
Wow, that leaves plenty more questions and is truly sounding suspicious. So she was staying with her mom in a camper? Anyone else? And got drunk and went to someone else’s camper? What do they say? How long was it before someone talked to them? Hope that any cars around these two sites will be identified and checked by dogs. Where was her husband at this time?

As of end of day, May 6. No sign of Nicole.

Raymond Police Chief Michael Labell says search has ended at Raymond campground. No sign of Nicole Davis. Only items recovered were her cellphone, jacket, and a beverage can. Police do not believe she is in nearby pond. @UnionLeader

It would be nice to know where her jacket, phone, and beverage were found. Was it along the side of the road where someone in a car could have grabbed her? Or more in the woods? If the dogs were tracking her scent, and lost it along the road, that could be an indication that someone grabbed her. According to the reviews, that's a party campground where people come and go all night long, unlike some where the gates close at a certain time.
If she was reported missing the next day, that would give someone enough time to hold her captive inside of a camper, and then drive out the next morning. If the dogs tracked her to an empty campsite, that may have happened.
All speculation on my part.

‘We just want her to come home’: Family members seek woman last seen at NH campground

BBM

Police say Davis was consuming alcoholic beverages prior to her disappearance.

Davis’ mother, Deborah Feddersen, said Davis went into another camper and was never seen again.

“She just had a little too much to drink. She went into someone’s camper right around 10 o’clock. They were watching the Bruins game, and that’s the last time anyone saw her,” she said. “She went into the wrong camper. She turned around. That’s the last time anyone saw her. They found her phone on the ground. They found her chapstick, her jacket, all in the same area. We just want her to come home.”

This to me is somewhat confusing.
Did she enter the wrong camper at 10:00 and "turn around?" Or did her Mom see her enter the wrong camper and it was her that turned around?
The initial post said she was last seen at 11:00. Who was watching the Bruins? Her and her mom? Or was she in the wrong camper for an hour watching the Bruins there? Did her mom last see her at 10:00 and then they questioned the people at the wrong camper and they said they last saw her at 11:00?
Am I reading this wrong?

I totally agree. The way it was written it could be interpreted several different ways.

JMO ....I think the Mom is taking what the people in 'the wrong camper' told her. I.E. Yeah she walked in while we were watching the game and she left..... I would be talking to them.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. It's a strangely worded quote, but who knows if the mom stated it that way, or if it's how it became worded from a journalistic point of view?

ETA The way I read it on SM is the mom reported Nicole went into the wrong camper by mistake, then left that camper, turned around and went the other way..was not seen again. Also I read there that Nicole was visiting and camping with friends. I suppose we should assume Nicole and company were watching the Bruins game and Nicole wandered outside and off somewhere. Maybe around 10pm. Still not clear on who may have seen her enter another camper, unless it was the people camping in that camper. And that may be the 11pm sighting. All JMO

this is very worrisome
I don't think they'll find her alive
I just hope they find her and are able to find out what happened

Given what we heard/know from her Mom, it is a very real possibility that she did wander away and get lost on her own.

Although I remain suspicious of anyone who was with her or encountered her, the fact that her phone and coat were not in the same location (found on different days) suggests she may have taken her coat off herself in the "paradoxical undressing" that occurs in later stages of hypothermia. Which is very very worrisome.
