Steelslady,
From your 1st link -> ... "Police need to speak with anyone who has had contact with him since April of 2018." ...

From 2nd -> ... "Police are seeking information to help a family find Timothy Christian Jarvis, a missing man whose last known location was in Farmington and who was last seen by family in April 2018." ,,,

Is that information correct?

Was the family's communication with him from April through October only through email?
Yes. His parents moved to Arkansas about a year ago. Tim visited them in April, and when he came back up here, he kept in touch through email and social media. Last communication was sometime in October, and no one has seen or heard from him since.

No-one was looking for him in October when he went missing..is this correct? He could have driven anywhere. Now maybe it is something that could be followed up on. How long would records of border crossings be kept? I expect if he used a passport to enter Canada months ago, there would be a record if he didn't recross back into the US. I'm just suggesting it as another place to search.
Just to update you- Tim's mother and I just talked. They have no knowledge of Tim getting any passport or pass card, but she said she hopes that the police are looking at that angle, just in case.

His Mom also wants to thank everyone for taking the time out of their day to help find her son. She is just beside herself with worry, and she is so grateful for everyone willing to help find her son. My heart goes out to her.

Same here. I feel so sad for her. Sure wish there was more to do to find him. Hoping upon hope he is found safe...soon. Keep the updates coming please.

Thank you so much, zecats. The not knowing is so surreal for his family, and right now, there isn't any clue to his whereabouts. Because I am not a VI, I can't say anymore that wouldn't go against the TOS, but I am extremely worried about Tim. It doesn't help that there are two other men missing from that area without any clues. One of them, they found a form of ID on a street he was on, and that is it.

Hopefully someone sees Tim or his car somewhere and calls the police.

Thank you for sharing that information with us. As a mother, I feel terrible for her and the rest of the family.

If you talk to his mother again. I have a book signing in Boston next week (I'm an author). I often put up missing flyers when I do the signings and would be happy to pass out his information but I always get the family's OK first.

Thank you! I just sent her a message- I am sure she would be truly grateful- how kind of you! Seeing that I am a huge book lover- I'd love to read your book.

OT but I'd also be interested in reading your books if you wouldn't mind sending me a PM as well. :)

Bumping for Timothy.

It looks like there are two distinct threads on WS for Tim - one with a missing date of April and this one with October. I wonder if he gave a reason for quitting his job. It sounds like his co-workers would have been the last known people to see him.

OT - Another book lover here too. My husband jokes that I seem to have a stack books in every room. If not too much, please let me know also.

I would like to know as well!
To perhaps add to the collection at work.

Any idea when he left his old job? And any idea where he was moving to or who he was moving in with?
ETA, If his parents know the vin number for the car, it might be worth doing a lookup to see if it's been sold. Or maybe a quick call to impound lots to see if it's been picked up as abandoned.

I can't say too much right now due to the investigation, but will answer what I can.

Police are definitely on this. Found out from his Dad on his missing page that they are researching his bank records to see when the last time he used his account.

April is the last time his parents physically saw him- he went to visit them in Arkansas.

He was still in touch with his family until October 22, which is the last time that anyone has seen or heard from Tim.

Checking his bank records is an excellent step. That will hopefully help them nail down a more definitive time that he’s been missing. Do you know if they have his vehicle’s VIN? I’d assume police would enter it into their system. Did the police do a thorough job at his last known residence? There may be some small clue if something nefarious happened there to lead to his disappearance. I wish so badly that they could at least find his vehicle. It could lead to more clues about what has happened to him. All JMO, of course.
