Police, friends plead for information about local woman not seen since Monday


The last indication of Perez Collazo’s whereabouts was late Monday evening when she stopped at a Tilton gas station to put gas into her vehicle. She was scheduled to report for her shift at 11 p.m. at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, where she works as a licensed nursing assistant, according to Casey Smith, a close friend who has known Perez Collazo for five or six years.

“I think something has happened,” Smith said Friday, “but I just don’t know what.”

Smith said calls to Perez Collazo’s cell phone go straight to voicemail, which indicates it has been turned off, and the last time her debit card was used was on Monday when she bought gas.

Smith, of Belmont, said she and other friends have been checking parking lots around the area on the chance that they might find Perez Collazo’s SUV.

It's so worrisome. I used to do the same thing when I worked that shift at a group home- I'd stop for gas on the way there. I don't live far from where she disappeared from, and from what I can see, she doesn't seem like the kind of woman to just up and leave on her own.

I hope she's found soon, safe of course. I am going to watch this one closely, seeing that this is local. We have two missing here, the other went off on his own. Waiting to see if they need help with search parties.

Prayers for Triana and her family and friends. Her kids must be scared to pieces.

I have read that, too, elsewhere, that she has been missing since Sunday. I'm really worried for this woman.

Yes. She was on her way to work and stopped for gas. I used to do the same when I worked that shift.

Just going by what family, friends, and co-workers are posting elsewhere- she's a reliable and dependable woman with a family and lots of friends. She's not known to do this. People in her life are really frantic and searching for her. They haven't found her vehicle yet or any sign of her.

Triana, if you're out there alive somewhere, PLEASE contact your family or friends. They really care about you and need to know you are ok.

I've contacted one of her friends to see if she'll come on here. She has a lot of people worried about her, but weirdly enough, one that should be worried, isn't concerned at all.

A post [CS] posted on her Facebook page, asking for any information about Perez Collazo has been shared by nearly 1,000 people, including relatives of Perez Collazo who live in Spain.

To any suggestion that Perez Collazo might have left voluntarily, [CS] said she finds it hard to believe that her friend would have left her three young children, as well as her job working with Veterans Home residents who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease.

“I know how she is with her children,” — two girls and a boy — who are between the ages of 2 and 10, she said adding: “She loves her job.”

“It’s not like her,” [CS] said. “She wouldn’t just leave.”

LACONIA, NH — Police in the city of Laconia are asking for the public's help finding or hearing from a woman who has not been seen since Tuesday. Triana Perez Collazo is 27, about 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighs around 145 lbs., and has brown hair and eyes. She may be driving a black 2016 Jeep Patriot with a New Hampshire registration, seven-digit plate, beginning with the numbers 357.

If you have seen Collazo, someone who looks like her, or know where she is, contact Laconia police at 603-524-5252 and ask for Sgt. Black or Officer Goodheart.

Odd that the Laconia paper says "Perez Collazo was last heard from on Tuesday, according to a brief statement police released Friday to the media."

That's the day after they knew her whereabouts. Not sure how accurate it is - or if she called someone?
