This profile was only added to NamUs yesterday. It’s amazing (and sad) how many cases exist and just aren’t ever publicized.

The only possible match I see in NAMUS is Janis Taylor, though there's really not enough information to go on. She disappeared from Concord, NH.
@HopeRains Did you see any news articles about her discovery?

Atrocious, really. A child is found near a main thorough fare, Namus has been around for almost 20 years, and this is just now getting out there? I simply do not understand. Maybe this is another one of those cases that went for review and landed in box on a shelf or something only to later be found ... sigh. I have found nothing in newspaper archives, but I may not have appropriate access ... although, I did look at a paper in Grafton County (location) and other "crime" news was covered. Maybe the date is off or something?

I haven't found anything on newspapers.com either.

Maine border is about 50 miles to East; border of Vermont about the same to the West. Province of Quebec is approx 100 miles to the North, with the border of Massachusetts about the same to the South. I-93 southern ends around the Boston area (don't know historical perspective on this).

Valley News out of West Lebanon appears to be the paper covering the area. Maybe someone else will find something in that paper that I am not seeing. Hope so.

Debbie Quimby, 13, went missing in May 1977 from Townsend, MA - approx 100 miles away.

Not much is known about the young Doe. Given all of the other close state borders, no PMI, and little other data - to include lack of news articles - there are probably many possibilities. Hopefully additional info will be provided soon.
