I agree with you on the good husband part. I watched a few episodes of their newlywed show and always thought he deserved better. Not that I don't think she was or is a good person just that he seemed to take it alot more seriously then she did.

Perhaps, that is what he whispered into her ear at Times Square. You could tell that she was really surprised and touched with what he whispered. He is a handsome guy. I don't know how successful he is. However, I really think that he would make a good husband. I always liked him better than Jessica. I think that she still has growing up to do.

Well, my sister was a senior when she was a freshman and didn't hang out with her. She just said she was a pretty cheerleader so I have no idea what she's all about. She seems sweet enough to me...I mean I've never seen pictures of her ladyparts on the internet!!
Hahahha That was funny!!!

Curious1 I don't think even if someone can afford several children with several different men that its a good idea.
Its not so much about the financial aspect IMO as its about the morality.
I do however agree with your statement about the arguement against gay marriage. Americans have managed to cheapen the sanctity (sp?) of marriage all on their own permitting gays to marry will not cheapen it.

Hey, let's all turn gay and protest the ban on gay marriages!! LOL

Your idea is worth considering.....maybe I would be less crazy if I lived with a woman...hmmm....and I am already "Honorary Gay"....;)

Sandra....
Oh no, no, no!! Sounds good on paper, but I work with a bunch of women and have thought to myself on many occasions "I could never put up with another woman....we (myself included :blushing: ) come with too much crap (emotions, neediness, etc...)!!! "LOL...
Give me a football watching, beer drinking, semi-compassionate man anyday!!!LOL

I think a gay man would make the perfect husband. They would want to go shopping with you, they could help you accessorize, they could decorate, they would actually clean up behind themselves and they would know how to answer 'does this make me look fat'. (Okay, okay I know I am generalizing here, but it's just for entertainment purposes.)

And don't forget....they are legal for us gals to marry!!!....:D

Yep, we better marry 'em before they can marry each other. :D

(Please don't yell at me I am just having fun. My cousin is gay and he married his long time partner in SF a few years back when it first became legal and I think it's cool.)

No, I think even married people should live in duplexes so you each have your own private side of the house.

I really don't see what the big deal is w/gay marriage anyway... Other than the ones getting married how does it affect anyone else?:waitasec:

Hey, I like the duplex idea too...What about a lease program?

Happy New Year, Nova!

I was looking at the picture of Colbert in bed with the Statute of Liberty in this week's Entertainment Weekly.

And I thought, what was southcitymom thinking?! She shoulda gone after that.

Happy New Year to you, too!

Ah, that thought HAS crossed my mind. But I was young and foolish and interested in nasty pieces of work back then! If only I had listened to my Momma - she tried to tell me...sweet, long-suffering woman.

Fortunately for all concerned, I did finally become enchanted with a delightful young man....just not the inimitable Mr. Colbert!

Good for you!

Colbert is oddly attractive for a geeky guy not in particularly good shape and with hideously mismatched ears. Must be that "sense of humor" thing...

Lol-Malapoo that's my thoughts exactly. I told hubby when we can afford to buy a house we're going to buy a duplex and he can have his messy, smelly, boy side and I can have my neat, pretty, color coordinated side. Of course we'd probably end up with DD being incredibly warped-lol-or maybe she could just wander from side to side depending on her mood? :D
