He's Peruvian, huh? How many illegal immigrants can we keep allowing to commit crimes and just walk off. In Philly years ago a little girl was raped and murdered. All these years later thanks to Nevada's LE he gave DNA. Bam, there he is. Now they can't find him since he was deported. No doubt he's back in the States, and living in the basement of one of twenty houses on each block of my hood. The funeral of those poor kids was so sad. Sad indeed. Bright, young and hopeful. The gun, a .357-caliber revolver, was recovered from the Long Island, N.Y., house of a reputed MS-13 gang member, and it may have been used in several other killings, authorities said Thursday.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A man who admitted pulling the trigger in the execution-style killings of three college students in a schoolyard was sentenced Thursday to three consecutive life terms in a case that jolted New Jersey's largest city into dealing with its crime problem.

Melvin Jovel, 21, pleaded guilty to murder, attempted murder and weapons charges days before his trial was to begin in September.

Prosecutors said Jovel and five other young men lined up Iofemi Hightower and Dashon Harvey, both 20, and 18-year-old Terrance Aeriel, against a schoolyard wall in Newark and shot each of them in the back of the head on a summer night in 2007.

A fourth victim survived and testified at the first trial in the case that she was sexually assaulted, slashed with a machete and shot in the head.

(He'll be eligible for parole in about 208 years.)

Gomez, 20, was the youngest of six defendants with ties to the MS-13 street gang to be convicted or plead guilty to the slayings outside of Mount Vernon School in Newark and the last to be sentenced.

Ravin called the Aug 4, 2007, attack "evil incarnate" and sentenced Gomez to 60 years each of the murders of Iofemi Hightower, Dashon Harvey and Terrance Aeriel, and 15 years for the attempted murder of Natasha Aeriel, all students or incoming students at Delaware State University. The terms will run consecutively.

The case attracted national attention for its brutality, consumed hundreds of days of trial testimony over nearly five years and resulted in more than 1,000 years of prison time for the killers.
