The city police department is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for a missing 19-year-old man.
Adam Rogers, who is six feet and four inches in height and weighs 165 pounds, has a fair complexion with blonde hair and brown eyes, according to the Asbury Park Police Department.
Rogers has been missing since Monday, police said.
The teen, who will turn 20 on July 29, has previously been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome on the autism spectrum. He requires medication and has been without it, so if found he may appear “erratic, impulsive, easily angered and unstable,” police said in a statement.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Rogers or if anyone has seen him in the past two days should call police at 732-774-1300.
On Saturday, the Best Day Foundation hosted a day at the Asbury Park beach for children with special needs. Check out the photo gallery above. In the video below, police officers are trained how to interact with people who are autistic.
