GUILTY NJ - Autumn Pasquale, 12, murdered, Clayton, 20 Oct 2012 *teens arrested*

Not directed at you, but at least 1/3 of the posts on here are speculating that she may have met with someone she was chatting with on the internet, possibly someone older. I don't find it unusual that LE would think she is a runaway, considering so many here seem to think the same thing.
If there is no indication of foul play, or nothing that points to a crime, LE has no other choice but to consider it a runaway situation.

The concern on here that something bad happened is partly because people suspect she might have met someone online.

If she met someone online, someone older and "ran away" with them - isn't that very concerning to you?

I'm still trying to sort through something - Her father said she left around 12:30 Saturday afternoon to go to her friends BUT she wasn't reported missing until about 9:30 Saturday night. When exactly did he realize she didn't make it to her friend's house? Did he tell her to call as soon as she arrived, or no? Wasn't she expected to "check in" with somebody? If 12:30 was around the last time her father spoke with her (or saw her), is it standard practice in his home to give so much freedom without expecting a courtesy call stating whereabouts?

I'm not finding anything terribly bad on the parents. Wanted to say that. Just questioning if this is typical for Autumn to not have to "check in" with her location, etc. To go 9 hours without checking up on a child...

I would like to know what the communication was between Autumn and her mom that afternoon-where was she? Where was she headed? How far was she supposed to be traveling from her dad's to this friend's house?

Omg I just received a call on my cell & house phone from our district superintendent. Our HS football team played Clayton in Clayton last Sat. The automated msg said we had alot of fans in attendance. He gave a description of Autumn said 5'2 120 pounds blonde & blue, if anyone saw her to contact Clayton police. Jesus this really hits close to home. They need to find this little girl!

What kind of frame is that? It looks like a Fit. I didn't think Odyssey makes frames, just the other customizable parts. Anybody know? It could be important bc of the worth.

I hate to say this but kids have been killed by other kids over bikes, shoes, coats, etc. worth less than this bike.

Nothing important to add.

I just hope that Autumn comes home soon.

I know carbuff, we've had cases like that here on WS. But I know how much these bike parts cost so I thought it was worth mentioning. If she has a good frame such as a Fit and has Odyssey parts on this bike, then its worth a good penny. It's not a cheap bike by no means. Used it could get 3-500. My son sold one of his Fit bikes for 375 & it needs a chain & a new pedal. The pedal itself is over 50 for the pair. His bike was used for a couple of years. Of course somebody could get cheap ones but why do that when all the other parts are custom? Idk, just thought it worth mentioning bc older kids, adults even, can be brutal.

I still think she got hurt biking or she was abducted. Can't see this girl running away.

I remember when they were looking for Jessica Ridgeway, and the publicity was massive. Someone said that this mass exposure would make the abductor feel like he 'had to' kill her. It was here on WS too....and it disturbs me to this day.

Anyway, is it possible that LE doesn't want to push an abductor with too much media coverage? Would they actually hold back massive publicity, to not push an abductor? Thoughts?

Thanks GCK. That's what I thought!

I went to Clayton this morning about 10:30, there is no searching going on at Scotland Run Park right now, I talked to 3 women a little further down the road who all had fliers to pass out. I road down to the police station, plenty of people around standing in the street giving fliers to every car, channel 6ABC WPVI and channel 10 NBC WCAU were both there. On my ride back I saw 2 SAR dogs with their handlers parked in a driveway kind of waiting it looked to me but idk. Also the women I talked with said the only info they got was that her cell phone pinged off a Williamstown tower. Best I can figure is it is the tower off the Black Horse Pike by Peter's Diner, for anyone local, they were told that ping would be for a 2 mile radius.

Idk but I don't think so bc if they feel she's been abducted then they owe it to the public to advise. If they feel she was abducted then they need to warn people to be extra cautious with their kids.

There is a search but its not Scotland Park. I forget where but I read it on the Facebook page for her.
