But thinking about the text that her friend reported she received from Autumn saying "Don't be like that?" could have been meant for CeeCee and in reference to CeeCee saying something like "Aww I can't sing or that wasn't any good."

That info I referred to in my post was posted on the Find Autumn Facebook official page about the singing girl and a text message. I don't know about any personal pages.

Edited to add, I was on the Find Autumn FB page 5 min after it was developed and saw the info I was referring to.

Oh yes, I know it was on there. I was just referring to later posts asking people not to post info from her page. And not to post her missing info to public walls.

I've always wondered if the way these cases blow up on social media was a problem for LE. Seems maybe it is?

Zero - did you really mean geocaching or did you mean gps info? Geocaching is a hobby that I do and I really can't relate this to Autumn missing. I am feeling like a bit of a muggle (geocache term).

Yeah its been a long day. Been here since 7 am. I uses the geocache term for reference of GPS location being attached to a photo.

Geocaching has been done for years to track movement & possible location. Since there were posts on FB, it means Internet would be used. Geocaching would use ping triangulation within each post finding an ip from where the Internet was accessed, whether by cellphone or pc, etc. this wouldn't be the geocaching game done outside by groups of people, but rather the method describing the term.

You know Kamille, I was thinking of this the other day. FaceBook is a unique phenomena.

There are people who don't watch or read the news but will be on FB daily. In one way it IS a way to spread the word so more people can be aware. There are so many who think these things could never happen to them but I think FB helps make it real for them.

On the other hand LE uses social media in research and monitoring ways we could never imagine. I wish there was a happy medium.

I don't know enough about these phones now days if you can film something store it on the phone and the upload in late but isn't it likely that location was were she was last. That lead is 130. Yes could be an old video. Doesnt matter. What matters is if it was uploaded from her phone if it was they will have a location. But I already said that and that's MO since I am not verified
