When did they find the body? It had to be earlier this evening, so the search was still going ????

I was over at the Find Autumn FB page. That's where I saw the news, then went to a couple of Twitter accounts. I'm stunned. I came back here to see you all have all the information.

I wasn't expecting to hear anything tonight. I'm so saddened by this.

What's next? Once this thread is moved, where do we go for discussion on POI's??

I believe the thread title will change to "found deceased".. You will still be able to post about poi's and evidence.

"Authorities targeted the search to areas Autumn was last seen, specifically Scotland Run Park and a bike trail from Clayton to Williamstown. They've also pulled surveillance video from surrounding businesses in Clayton and did a canvass of all the registered sex offenders in Clayton, Franklin, Monroe and Glassboro."

For a day or so, the name of the thread will remain in the Missing section with the words Moved and Found Deceased. If you click on the link anyway, it will take you right over on a magic carpet to the thread that has been moved in the Located section.

I keep both the Missing Forum and the Located Forum as bookmarks.

If LE doesn't want us to know, they might just have a reason for that.

Of course not.
What if the suspect is reading here and decides to run because they realize it's known there is a suspect?
If LE doesn't want it released and it's critical to an investigation, we generally don't talk about it here.
The last thing we want to do is prevent Justice for Autumn.

If it's not being reported in MSM, no.

As MsFacetious said, if LE hasn't released it, there's probably a good reason. We don't know what they want out there right now. We do NOT want to jeopardize any investigation.

It is my understanding that your verification process has not been completed.

Let's please continue this discussion in PMs. Same goes for anyone else with any questions. I do not want to side-track Autumn's thread.

Just my opinion:

Insider verification is generally for people who know the victim, the family, are involved in the search etc.

It isn't for releasing information that will inhibit the investigation. That isn't what Websleuths is about.


If the police have a suspect that is on the run, odds are pretty good they are going to tell the public about that to track him down.

If they run and they are a local it's pretty obvious who they are. So many do not run.

If we are dealing with someone who is cocky and thinks they are better than police, no I do not think they are running.

I could name cases where LE watched the suspect before arresting them, for weeks sometimes.

It appeared they had NO suspects, the public had no clue and neither did the suspect himself.

It is generally just better to be careful of what we reveal. I would feel awful if I interfered with a case.

OH NO!!! not another child....... Honestly, this is getting out of hand, what is happening in this world.......and what is wrong with these men (ok dont know if it is sexual yet)....but I just can't understand how men can not control these sexual urges that is leading them to kill, and it seems to be happening more often........what is going on????

All I can say is that I am not a religious person, but if there is a god, then I think it is time he/she turned up and put a stop to all the evil that seems to be in the human race.
