Odd that I can't find a single MSM mention of her missing. And she's not on the NJ state police's missing person's page. Where does NAMUS get its info from?

Anyone with an account can enter a missing person case on NAMUS but the case page is not made public until NAMUS coordinators have confirmation from LE that the person has been reported missing and permission from LE officials to publish the case:

You're welcome. I like posting NAMUS cases here because at least we know that LE has an official missing report. And if you submit a tip to NAMUS on a missing person they will pass it on to LE. We should keep in mind that some info might be incorrect (due to volunteers or family of the missing making the profiles) or certain info fields might be hidden from the public at LE's request if it is a suspicious case. And since it's run by volunteers sometimes a case stays up even after someone is found-- I believe they have to get official word from LE to take it down too.

Back to Beth's case. She has the Alias name "Beth Harbison". When I search that name I find it's the name of a prolific romance novel writer. Beth Harbison - Wikipedia

But further searching found that author has posted to her social media pages in October and her photo is different enough I don't believe it's the missing woman.

So I wonder if Harbison is Beth's maiden name? I wonder if her name is short for Elizabeth? Not much info online comes up for her having such a unique last name.

Looks like she has only used the first name Beth in public records so that may be her legal name.

Perhaps more info will come up by searching Philadelphia records?

From her FB friends list, I found her youngest son has the last name of Schallawitz, so perhaps Harbison is her maiden name? Her FB page also said she was separated, so if the divorce isn't final, she might not have legally changed her name back to Harbison. IMO, sometimes when people get divorced and they have minor children, women sometimes keep their married surname even after the divorce because it seems easier. On SM, you can go by any name you want!

Every mention of Beth has always been "Beth."

I tried to find something definite about her name, so I checked ancestry.com, but I couldn't find a birth or marriage record for Beth. All of the people information sites that I have looked at so far have her listed as "Beth," and don't give her name as "Elizabeth."
