NUTLEY, NJ - Secaucus police located the a missing Nutley man's vehicle and mobile phone in Laurel Hill Park. They have not been able to locate 33 yr old Bhavesh Sangani who was reported missing at approximately 11:30 Wednesday morning.

Secaucus police Bhavesh Sangani's Nissan Altima after police put out an alert to surrounding communities. Lyndhurst's dive team and water rescue team responded to the area to search the Hackensack River. Wallington, Bayonne, Oradell and Kearny Fire Departments, as well as New Jersey State Police, Transit, Hudson County Sheriffs, Amtrak, Maywood, and Secaucus Police departments assisted in the search efforts.

Nutley Police Chief Thomas Strumolo said that detectives are talking to family and friends in an effort to determine his whereabouts. "Although we are searching the waters of the Hackensack River we remain hopeful he is unharmed," stated Chief Strumolo.

Director Alphonse Petracco said, "at this time we are working closely with multiple agencies, and keeping his family aware of our progress."

SECAUCUS -- A body found floating in the Hackensack River on Saturday afternoon has been identified as a missing Nutley man.

Bhavesh Sangani, 33, was found near the Amtrak Bridge north of Laurel Hill Park, Secaucus Police Capt. Dennis Miller said.

The recovery comes days after a multi-county water search was conducted off the shore near the New Jersey Turnpike.

Sangani had been reported missing out of Nutley and was tracked to Secaucus. His phone and car were found at Laurel Hill Park on Wednesday.

RIP, Bhavesh.
