That bracelet doesn't look like anything I've seen in this country. We may have a decedent who came (recently) from eastern Europe.
I wonder if this sweater could be from the same artist View attachment 431047![]()

Many Eastern European teens/young adults come to the Jersey shore area to work over the summer months. Here is an article from 2010:

Students from abroad work at Jersey Shore to experience American culture

Yes, she does look promising. Have you contacted the investigating agency about her?I'm surprised just looking through the comments photos the body hasn't been as identified as Beata Rempisz yet. The facial reconstruction looks like her.
The sweater she or who whoever the Jane Doe was(lets just call her that for the rest of this paragraph) was carrying maybe they were working at one of the arcades/rides or at the counter or at a pizza place because it does get cold at night along the Jersey Shore Town boardwalks. Maybe whoever Jane Doe reported too(a manager) maybe Jane Doe just "silent quit" on their own because maybe other people had just stop showing up(i.e. silently quit)wherever Jane Doe had worked at one of the Jersey Shore towns boardwalks.
The bracelet another poster suggested on this thread maybe the Beata may have purchased it in Carteret, NJ. Beata was reported missing in Woodbridge, NJ in 2006 somebody else had posted on this thread. Carteret borders Woodbridge so its not that far fetched at all that the bracelet may have been purchased in Carteret. I know other posters on this thread have said the bracelet was sold in other countries too though.
I do live in New Jersey myself just to note.

Most of the pics on this thread resemble Beata but I take Beata's daughter's word for it that the doe is not her Mom. I might post something this weekend on this thread because I had a question that maybe somebody else could answer on this thread. Had I known in 08 about the Jane Doe on this thread I would have gone to the shore and shown the picture of the Doe in different Shore Towns around Brielle. I used to go to the Shore some(mostly Seaside Heights and Belmar) because I had 4 day work weeks at the time in the late 2000's. Now its harder with 5 day work weeks.Beata's daughter doesn't believe this Doe is her mother and there's DNA available for comparison.
Does anybody know what direction this Jane Doe was walking in before she committed suicide?
I did post prior that its gonna be hard to remember this Jane Doe and who she was. Its gonna take somebody who has been working in that area of the shore from summer to summer. I'm thinking about taking a picture off this thread because I am going to the shore in a couple weeks maybe I might see somebody older that maybe recalls this Jane Doe. It doesn't hurt to ask.
I think you have a good line of thought.I don't think that it necessarily provides a Slavic/Russian link, but given the presence of the rosary beads I doubt it was being worn for fashion purposes. I know that icons are also popular in Latin American countries...
Most Ukrainians and nearly all Russians are Eastern Orthodox.there are loads of Russians/Ukranians in Brighton Beach Brooklyn, which would be my guess where she was from. unless you have ever encountered the communities there, it is very hard to describe. they are very insular and there are various criminal syndicates that work from those communities.
I doubt this was a suicide. She had no pants on. It looks more like she was assaulted and left unconscious on the train tracks.Does anybody know what direction this Jane Doe was walking in before she committed suicide?
