Thanks Jilly.... I understand her family being upset, I would probably be also if my child or relative would have negative things on a website said about them. The mother does need to contact NamUs to have her name added to the rule out list if this UID isn't her. I emailed Pam Reed about a month ago and she said they were waiting for DNA to come back.

I was'nt sure if the family was told indefinitely that Caitlin is not a match. If they were informed that she is NOT a match and the rule-out list was not updated (which happens all the time) then the family could contact, in this case Pam Reed, and have her name added to avoid anymore comparisons by others. This case hit home for me, I live near Pemberton and have a daughter. NJ women have been targeted by an unknown serial killer in the past (mostly the victims were prostitutes in Atlantic City). It is scary to know someone is there still operating undetected. There is another suspected serial killer FREE and living in South River, NJ. He served 18 years for killing a 12 year old girl and is the prime suspect in many more homicides. His name is Glenn Barker. Here is a link to an article about him for those interested.

Another issue that detectives will have to deal with in this particular case will be if they ever confirm the identity of this body and the fact that it was a homicide the list of suspects could be extremely long. Pemberton is just outside of the US Army's Fort Dix and has soldiers from all over the country there at any given time. There is also off-base housing available in Pemberton. Im not suggesting that a soldier killed this girl, but if it was a homicide that will have to be looked at....

Fortunately, chaddylex, you do not have all the information about Caitlin. Suffice to say, she is not the identity of this body and I would really appreciate it if you took down all the posts mentioning her name and details from her missing persons file. I am a relative, and Caitlin's mother has enough to deal with now without stumbling upon this thread suggesting her as the identity of a dead body. Thank you for understanding.

I removed the one post discussing the details of her lifestyle (which is already discussed elsewhere). However, her missing persons file is in the public domain, and consequently, it is inevitable that her name will come up from time to time on this forum and others by persons committed to giving the names back to the unidentified.

I hope having her name and photo posted online leads to more awareness that she is missing and some day you get a tip that brings her home. I can't imagine the stress of having a missing family member.

My reason that I have became involved with the missing and unidentified is to bring them home, not to cause any hurt to families even though sometimes that is the outcome. (if they are found deceased) I can't imagine having a loved one missing.

Danielle Imbo disappeared on February 19, 2005 from a bar in Philadelphia, straight down and across NJ-38 E and County Rd 530 E, 34 miles away from where these remains were found. She resided on dunbarten road in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Her teeth were in good condition so I know it is a long shot.

I think I missed something. What about a thumb print? I didn't see anything to obviously eliminate her.

She does look quite a lot like the sketch.

Here are the Jane Doe's dental x-rays compared to two close-ups of Danielle Imbo's teeth.

I am not a dental expert, so I can't say conclusively, but it appears that the Jane Doe's two front teeth (8&9) are short and stubby, and touch each other at the bottom. Danielle has a gap between her 8&9, and as I see it, it they appear taller with a wider gap.

Also, the Jane Doe has a crown on her #10 lateral incisor, and the crown tapers narrower at the bottom. Although the photo of Danielle is not real clear, it doesn't appear IMO that her #10 tapers the same way (I am presuming that the x-rays are viewed from the outside in, and that the crown is on her left side).

But there are similarities in the uneven vertical positioning of their teeth, and I would not want to rely on my non-expert opinion. She should be compared by an expert.

Carl, she definitely seems like a good match. Namus, states her age range is 21-30 and the press release info found in articles with the new composite drawing of her say 25-40. In your experience, would you go with Namus's age range or the press release? I cant stand when there is such a big discrepancy with such info, makes it so much difficult to narrow down possibles. :notgood:

I think both Natalie and Danielle should be submitted.

It would be nice to have more precise information, but I doubt if they have it. I's hard to tell an adult's exact age just by looking at the bones. If tthe ends of the long bones have matured, you can tell she's no longer a teen, and if they don't show much thinning or developing arthritis, you know she's probably not middle aged yet. And even that's not precise. When I had my bone density scan last year, my doctor said that if she was just looking at my skeleton, she'd guess I was in my early 40's. I'm quite a lot older than that

I am surprised Danielle Imbo has not been ruled out. hers was a very well publicized disappearance as it is not common for a man and a woman to disappear together under circumstances where it looks like both were murdered.

Just read the post. Stacy was ruled out in the 1st day or 2. I had hoped they would have some peace by now because the location is near where she lived. Her father says she's in the bogs.

IMO; she's probably going to be more local; Burlington or one of the surrounding Counties. Browns Mills is pretty out of the way especially since they closed the base 9/11. While this area is off a main drag; there are tons of other areas to leave someone where they wouldn't be found. Not sure if she was found fairly close to the houses there.

I don't understand why they keep calling it Pemberton Township. No one that lives there calls it that. Our mailing address is Browns Mills NJ, 08015; not Pemberton Township. Pretty sure Pemberton Township is more where 4 Mile Rd & Pemberton Browns Mills Rd meet; the municipal building /police station is there. Looking at the map; where it says Pemberton Township; it's really Mt Misery. You can see where the map says Browns Mills.

Human Remains Found in Burlington County - Body found in wooded area of Browns Mills, NJ - By Dan Stamm - Monday, Jun 18, 2012

A body was found in a wooded area off Lakehurst Rd (County Route 530) near Quail Run Rd that's normally used by dirt bike & ATV riders, Pemberton Township Police told NBC10 Monday. 2 people riding motorcycles along the trail discovered the body around 9:45 a.m. Sunday. It was in an advanced state of decomposition. While the body appeared to be a women's; no official word could be given on the gender until an autopsy that is planned for Monday can be performed.

Officials say that the medical examiner and police spent about 12 hours on the scene Sunday. It wasn’t clear how long ago that person died but officials did say the body likely had been there for six months or longer.

Authorities are pouring through recent missing persons cases in the area & reached out to Philadelphia Police to see if the body matched any missing person cases in the city

Molly Lynch, 22, of the Levittown section in Falls Township, was reported missing by family last April.

Lynch's body was found off Quail Run Trail in Pemberton Township, N.J. by two people riding all terrain vehicles on June 17.
