Additionally, a piece of information that isn't mentioned in this thread, but that I found in Brazilian articles, is that Carla was staying in the apartment of a friend of her family (Carla’s father was this man’s accountant). Also, Carla’s boyfriend, who was in Brazil, reported that just two days before she disappeared, she told him she had been receiving unwanted attention and sexual harassment from this man (who was elderly at the time). According to the boyfriend, she was so upset about the situation that she cried during their phone call, and he spent several minutes trying to calm her down.
