Does anybody know what section of Newark she was from? I'm assuming she is from the Northeast Section of Newark which is very Puerto Rican which used to be very Italian pre-1970 or pre-1980.

Glen Ridge is very middle class or maybe a little upper middle class. Montclair you have to be wealthy to buy a house there especially Upper Montclair. Maybe she got sick of living in a city like Newark and moved in with somebody in Glen Ridge. If she is in Montclair she must be splitting the house payment with 3 other people. Alot of people originally from NYC moved to Montclair after 9/11 I think. Montclair has 4 NJ Transit Stations and some people get on the train and go to their job in NYC.
