Bumping a pretty old thread, but I watched the recent film on this case, The Good Nurse, where Jessica Chastain plays the fellow nurse/friend of Cullen who ultimately got him to confess. I assumed a lot of it had been fictionalized for Hollywood (I had never heard of the case), but then one of my favorite podcasts, Criminal, just dropped an episode with interviews with Amy Loughren, the nurse who helped law enforcement nail him, and it seems the movie adhered pretty closely to the facts.
