NJ cops kick in door over bird's cries for help

This is a much lighter outcome to most cases we read about here on WS. The bird is adorable, btw.

TRENTON, N.J. - Cries for help inside a Trenton, N.J., home turned out to be for the birds. Neighbors called police Wednesday morning after hearing a woman's persistent cry of "Help me! Help me!" coming from a house....

LOL! I bet LE was kind of mad but relieved. As the owner of the bird I'd be mortified. I hope her neighbors now know she has the bird and have an emergency contact, lol.

I wonder if the home owners insurance policy will cover the door, hee hee hee.
