David Cohen was last seen alive at the Red Lion Motel located on US 206 in Southampton Township, Burlington County, on April 20.

He had been traveling from out of state to visit a friend, police say, who lived in Lacey Township, Ocean County.

No contact has been made with Cohen since he checked into the motel. He was reported missing on April 22.

Cohen is 43-years-old and is described as standing 5'7" and weighing 170 pounds. He has Hazel eyes and a bald head, as well as two tattoos: an iron cross on his right abdomen and a wreath and rod on his upper right chest.

David Cohen - LAST SEEN: April 20, 2015

Cohen was last seen at Red Star Pizza in Burlington County. His parked and locked vehicle was found nearby at the Red Lion Motel and he was traveling from West Virginia to visit a friend in Ocean County. He was wearing a dark-colored tee-shirt and khaki pants and may have been in the area of Forked River, according to law enforcement.

Details of Disappearance
Cohen was last seen at the Red Lion Motel on Route 206 in Southampton, New Jersey on April 20, 2015. He's from West Virginia and was visiting a friend in New Jersey at the time of his disappearance; he had checked in for one night. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

It's interesting there was a pair of jeans on the bed, but the bag if clothes with the key to the motel. Why wouldn't you bring your entire bag of clothes in?

Listening to the podcast cast again, very strange! So he lost his cell phone, bought a temp/burner cell but never opened it or used it, it was found with his belongings in the truck. Also odd, why would he take one pair of jeans out, leave them on the bed, but take/keep the bag of clothes in the truck? Why not bring the bag in and leave it in the room if you were planning on staying the night?

So he calls his friend to say he wasn't coming until next day, that he's tired and staying at this motel. Gives name of motel, did he call from the motel room? According to his sister he also called his mom from a store phone, did he possibly call someone else to meet him at motel? So much time has passed but that would've been an interesting lead, if we knew what store he called from and could speak to who was working there and maybe could've verified how many calls were placed.

The photos of the motel seem to show it's a bit on the seedy side (IMO), one image showed mirrors on the ceiling in one of the rooms, so not sure if illegal activity takes place there frequently. Perhaps he witnessed something he shouldn't have?
