That's been out for a while and I'm not sure how they got it. Maybe "Sharpcheck" was some sort of street name and whoever knew her thought her name was Laronda Anderson?

This is actually where she was found, 77 Eppirt Street. Its's now a quiet residential area. Could have been very diffrent in 1984. It's not too far off the main road so I believe she was dumped there. Not specified how she died. Wether it's an accidental overdose or homicide.

Did you end up hearing back?

Edit: Apologies, responded to wrong post

Namus says possible name Lorandra or Laranda. But with a ring bearing the letter Y maybe it was Yolanda?

There is a Yulanda missing from Illinois in 1982.

Yulonda Estes - #MP89567

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 110-120lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Circumstances: Brother and Sister were estranged from missing subject for many years. They learned that sometime in 1982 or 1983, Yulonda moved to the Chicago area and they never heard from her after.

However, someone in her websleuths thread states that she had a son born in 1987 (assuming its the right Yulanda), so doe may not be her.

I submitted Laronda Bronson (#MP5284) as a potential to NamUs on 10/28/2020.
Any follow up? I think you’re right. Laronda has many UP rule outs, but not this one.

As a woman who lives less than 30 minutes from East Orange and whose grandmother was born there in 1929 and is still alive now: MOO: urban environment with some university presence. I predict that there is enough familial DNA available that if this case goes through @othram it would be solved in very short order. Here is to hoping that science is our friend in bringing truth to light. Xo

I totally agree re: DNa. However, I believe she was created shortly after.
