A reward has been offered in the effort to find a man who has been missing from his Clifton home for more than a year.

Edgar Pelaez, 39, was last seen on July 16, 2022, in the area of Hoover Avenue in Passaic County, according to police. A $2,000 reward was offered last week for information.

“Despite efforts by his family and police, his whereabouts remain unknown,” police said in a statement.

Police said the missing man was known to frequent Botany Village in Clifton and Parker Avenue in Passaic. He is about 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighed about 125 pounds at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Clifton police at 973-470-5911 or 973-470-5908.
