Crime tape now surrounds the horror story on Lincrest Terrace in the suburban community of Union. Sheriff's officers reportedly went to the house just after 10 a.m. Wednesday to serve an eviction notice on the home that was in foreclosure, and made the grisly discovery soon after arriving.

So many in this world have no idea how hard it really is when you are less fortunate.

It was a murder-suicide, wasn’t it?

So sad. They'd been in the home for 15 years.

Wow, the mother did it:
A joint investigation conducted by the Union County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Was Force and the Union Police Department revealed that Andrea Alarcon fatally shot her husband and two daughters before fatally shooting herself.

Authorities say the murder weapon was found near her body.

[should be Task Force in first paragraph]
UNION, NJ — A funeral mass will be held for the Alarcon Family who police say died in an apparent murder-suicide in their Union Township home.

Andrea Alarcon, 41, fatally shot her husband Ruben, 51, and two daughters Scarlett, 9, and Emma, 6, before fatally shooting herself, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.

No, you do not get sympathy for facing foreclosure.

I rent an apartment, folks. So do half the people I know. So what? You must still carry on, creating the best life for your kids that you can, even if you can't own a house right now.

The poor kids and her husband trusted in her to do that, to make the best of what they do have, and to carry on through life together. Even if it's not matching your ideal. Even if you feel like you're failing in some way. Period.

Murder is never a solution.

I have done legal work on foreclosures/collections for years. There are so many options. I would not be surprised that there were some other issues here, that led to the foreclosure.
