Yeah, it does. There have been several similar cases around here (Massachusetts) over the last few years and they have all been either drug-related or domestic abuse.

Identified as Diamond Robles, 39, of Camden. Death investigation under way but no new details.

I do not believe Diamond was born a female. I wonder if that had any bearing on what happened to her. Horrible, poor thing.

I found a few state records of a Diamond Robles - all female and with several female-sounding aliases like Asia, Evelyn, Sandra, and Maria. NJ is quite good about using a person’s gender identity on official documents, IMO, so there might not be much listing anything else. I’m not doubting you, but I’ve noticed that media is quick to note whether a victim is trans. There has been minimal media coverage here…could be for lack of leads or because she has a criminal background. I don’t know.

There’s a public Diamond L. Robles Memorial Facebook page that seems to include old photos of a baby girl (April 22 2020 post).
