The description of Jane Doe describes her as a white female between 12 and 18-years-old, but most likely closer to between 12 and 14-years-old. Her estimated height was between 5'2" and 5'4" and weighed approximately 115 pounds. They believe she had shoulder-length auburn hair. Jane Doe was wearing, "...[A] blue polo shirt, bell bottom slacks with multiple colored vertical stripes, and brown leather sandals. She also wore a wide leather band bracelet with small brass eyelets all around the band."

Atlantic County Jane Doe has been unidentified for 49 years today.

This information is so easy to find and so recognizable. Especially on a site like this and on Namus. Why aren't the parents or loved ones scouring these pages for information? It's just surprising to me that more cases aren't solved from these internet searches when there are pictures and full descriptions!

Her parents are either very elderly or have passed away at this point. Given their age and generation, they may have never become computer literate, at least enough to scour the Internet, which really hasn’t been useful for this type of information until the last 10 years, or somewhat longer .
