Woodbridge Man Missing; Frequently Seen On St. Georges Ave.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ Woodbridge Township took the unusual step Thursday morning of asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.
The Woodbridge Township Police Department (WPD) is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man from the Fords section of Woodbridge Township.
The WPD Detective Bureau reports that 21-year-old George Wanjau was last seen by family members on Tuesday, May 8 in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township. Wanjau is described as a black male, 6' 2" tall, approximately 190 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair (Afro-style cut approximately 1-inch in length.) Wanjau was a recent graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen and frequents restaurants along St. Georges Avenue.
Police and family are concerned for Wanjau's physical and emotional welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of George Wanjau is asked to call the WPD Detective Bureau via the 24-hour WPD dispatch communication center at 732-634-7700.
