Edison Police Seek Help Finding Missing 14-Year-Old

The Edison Police Department has been actively looking for Jalaysia Staplar-Evans, Age 14 (Pictured) since May 3, 2018. She is believed to be in Newark, NJ. Anyone with information on her whereabouts, please contact EPD at 732-248-7400.

From June 21, 2018:

EDISON - For the third time in a year, a Edison teen has been reported missing from home, this time for nearly two months, and police believe she has run away.

Staplar-Evans is believed to be somewhere in the Newark area. Police said she previously was reported missing to police in March, and before that in June 2017 when she later was located at the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth.
