I almost hate to ask, but is anyone privy to the details as to exactly how Jan was ruled out as being Atlantic Highlands Jane Doe (DNA, dentals, ect.)? Her name has come up repeatedly since day one on both threads here and since she hasn't been listed anywhere as a rule out, she just keeps being circled back to. Would like to have that settled finally for the sake of both girls.

Has anyone submitted Jan to NamUs for a confirmation on the rule out for these remains? They usually don't disclose as what biometric was used to rule someone out. But, if they both have DNA profiles and/or dental records listed as available in NamUs, chances are it's an auto rule out, which wouldn't be listed. They only list manual comparisons in NamUs, but I suspect they will list an MP's name if they're inundated with duplicate submissions, which was hinted at with the last submission I sent in on another case. This is purely speculation on my part, but there was clear exasperation in the tone of the reply I received from one of the reps.

I apologize, maybe I'm not understanding the question. Are you stating that Jan was ruled out for AHJD, but she is not listed on that doe's rule out list?

If KaylaraOwl is correct in both of the above quoted posts, apparently so. If that is the case, its not likely that she was an auto rule out either.

You have to go back to the first few pages of this thread, but Jan was submitted as a possible match to AHJD back in 2005 through the Doe Network (Namus didn't exist yet.) and submitted directly to the relevant police agencies in NJ and was ruled out.

Hey Everyone! I just started researching Jan's case and was wondering about the post on this thread and a few other things. The person that was contacted and submitting DNA...do we ever know what happened with that? Was he a match? Did we not find out yet? Also...I'm wondering what happened with the person that was in the photo that was accidentally not contacted. Where is he? Ever contacted? Do we know anything else, anything new that wasn't said on this thread? Did anyone of you guys stop searching, if so I'd love to know where you left off and help pick up there.
