Is there a thread for her? Unidentified Native American woman's skeletal remains found at the Grand hotel on Diamond beach, Cape May on September 17th 1999. I can't find anything other than the NAMUS profile

Found at the Grand Hotel on Diamond Beach

So now we have to wonder, was she literally inside the hotel or on the property somewhere? Was she on the property? I'm not sure how a body could've decomposed with no one noticing in either scenario.

Unfortunately a lot of NamUs profiles are like this. Very little information, sometimes really weird information needing elaboration (like this one). There's also quite a few profiles that read, "Human femur found under log on hiking trail, race unknown, gender unknown, etc."

Assuming the present day "Grand at Diamond Beach" is what they meant by Grand Hotel in 1999, this is the place by satellite. Not very woodsy or open fieldsy, is it? I know it likely has changed since 1999 but still.

FWIW, The Grand at Diamond Beach is actually located at 5201 Ocean Avenue in Wildwood, NJ, and is a beachfront property. Not sure why maps has the wrong building labeled.

The victim was either a local or somebody taking a late seasonal trip down the shore. Usually the Jersey Shore is busy from Memorial Day(last weekend of May) to Labor Day Weekend(1st weekend of September.) Anything foot or car traffic after the first weekend of September is low to moderate. The exception would/might be Sandy Hook, Atlantic City or maybe even Long Branch. There are still people that go down the shore after the first weekend of September but its not crazy like it is during the summer months(June-August.)

She is actually right . 5201 ocean Ave is the Ocean Towers. 9601 Atlantic is the Grande.
