Detectives are looking for a black 1992 Ford F150 extended cab with New Jersey plates L44 ERU, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.

Prosecutor's spokeswoman Casey DeBlasio would not elaborate about the vehicle and why exactly it's being sought.

Authorities with knowledge of the case say Prusik was known to use the vehicle, but did not own it.

Sources who spoke on condition of anonymity told The Trentonian that the truck belongs to a man who was out with Prusik on Monday night. Sources say police have spoken to the man, but did not arrest him. Sources say the man told law enforcement that he let Prusik borrow his truck. That truck is now missing.

From November:

A person of interest early on, [Tyron] Lindsay, 38, who attended Nottingham High School in the 1990s with the victim, is charged with last month’s murder of Jessica Prusik-Martinez. Her body was discovered on the morning of Oct. 6 near overgrowth in John Roebling Memorial Park in Hamilton.

A married mother of two children and five stepchildren who had run a housecleaning business, the 38-year-old Prusik-Martinez had also apparently suffered blows to the head and the face, although prosecutors said at a bail hearing Thursday the medical examiner determined she had been strangled to death...

Police zeroed in on Lindsay because he was the last person seen with her, because of “inconsistencies” in his story and because the woman’s DNA was found on his body, prosecutors said.
