He piloted his boat, the White Whale, out Seaview Marin in Ocean City, NJ on January 12, 2007 but never returned. The wrecked remains of the boat were found by fisherman several days after his disappearance off the shore of Maryland.

Transportation Comments: The boat was a 21' 1983 Privateer Center Console with a 225 HP Johnson engine, NJ registration 4813TA
