Hardyston teen reported missing
Family members reported on Friday that Jordin Tenk, 15, was missing and said he may be in the possession of a handgun and may have made statements indicating an intention to harm himself.
Tenk was entered as a missing person into the National Crime Information Center database as a missing person and a search of the area was initiated by Hardyston Township Police personnel and K-9 partners from the NJ State Park Police and Sussex County Office of Emergency Management and Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office. Residents reported helicopter activity in the search area off Route 23 as well.
Tenk is described as a white male, 160 lbs., 5 feet, 10 inches tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes with white laces.
