Oops, my bad and my apologies. I misread it as you not being sure the animal was there.

no worries, i don't mind you verifying anything i say, especially something that could be important. we are talking in the neighborhood of 40 years ago anyway too.

Article from yesterday:

Princess Doe. Tiger Lady. And a new effort to learn who they really were.

Summary of the article:

Warren County is working with DNA Solutions and using investigative genetic genealogy to identify Princess Doe and Tiger Lady. Using a grant, Princess Doe has been exhumed. So far, recent attempts to extract DNA from her clavicle and femur haven't been successful. Her jaw and teeth are also being considered.

Additionally, they have access to Tiger Lady's organs (heart, lungs, kidney, liver) and bones (skull, jaw, teeth). They will find out within days if there is enough DNA present to avoid the $5,000 exhumation cost. They are confident they won't have to exhume her.

It's a paid article, I can't even read it on google cache. If you have access to it do you mind copying it and sending it to me via DM? I'd love to read it. Tiger lady is one of my pet cases. She's one of the 1st I put on Never Forget Me when we started it.

I remember when they happened and I would really like to see these cases resolved.

I'm so glad Tiger Lady and Princess Doe's cases are being picked up. These young ladies will finally be returned to their families.

I’m literally shaking in my boots waiting to hear this announcement Friday. I think this is finally the year when all these cases close.

This is such good news. So many cases have been solved this year that I spent hours on for years looking at Doe Network, NamUs and Charley Project for possible matches. Glad she will have her name back.

The power of DNA!

So sad. She was born the same year as myself. She had her whole life in front of her at being only 16 when she lost her life.

Was Wendy never reported missing?

We should try to capture the new image here from the presser of what she may have looked like at the time of her death. Long straight blond hair.
